Actually we could have killed you, fulla and Zealos all together without the change so it would still have been prom vs me, aka 1v1 aka mafia win.

artanis I really disagree with a lot of things you did at the end of the game here.
Like, games should never be decided by "who can post closer to the deadline".
I don't care if "mafia can last minute voteswitch" - that hasn't happened in a single TL game I've seen, and this game depends a lot more on "who's first" mechanics than other games.

Endgame

Today was a day of reckoning. A day on which many would die. Some had already felt the struggle and were forced to lay down their life in an attempt to save the rest. One of those was Fulla, whom willingly sacrificed himself so that others could live. He died not knowing if his sacrifice was in vain when the red horde of Goblins sliced his body open.
Another victim was StrongAndBig, the zombie master, prepared to summon people back from the dead to survive had no defense as the Planeswalkers' beast barely lifted a finger to end his torment. Unfortunately, there was no necromancer to resurrect StrongAndBig himself.
The planeswalkers felt confident enough to dispatch of the rest of the crowd easily. Mattchew grabbed Zealos by the Neck and asked him "Will your Ornithopter save you now?" Zealos had never known such fears until today. Mattchew then buried his fist through Zealos' back, breaking his spine and slowly sapped the life out of him.
WereBugs-Go only had one last person he needed to visit. Promethelax saw him coming and prepared his soldiers to fight the Planeswalker head on. His soldiers valiantly tried to stop the Myr onslaught, but every time a Myr went down, it was quickly repaired and sent back to fight. The numbers soon became overwhelming and Promethelax was the last man standing. He declared that his sons would avenge him, but that would help little in the battle of today as WereBugs-Go smashed his ribcage and threw him in the lake nearby.

If you sacrificed a creature, you could've extended the deadline. "Votes" like this can always happen and have have happened before in games where townies vote wrong in a LYLO situation. This was the same scenario. I understand some decisions were questionable and I'm happy to discuss them. I don't think not extending the deadline was one of them, though, as it is something Mafia has going for them in every game.

Artanis himself said that he didn't want things in this game to be decided by "race to the bottom" and that he would extend time limits in response to last minute actions. I think he should have extended the time limit.
I'm also kind of pissed that he reversed himself, changed the rules of magic and made my deck super useless.

I was actually really pissed myself.
I spend 48 hours NONSTOP grinding at the set-up checking out what we could do and finally came to the conclusion that if town gets the 15 minutes extension mafia has an about 0% chance of winning this game, which was just frustrating.
When we heard that changing attacks won't give the 15 minutes extensions we still were in a coinflip scenario depending on wethe or not one of Zealos + s&b would panic. That way we'd still win but it was completly based on town making the wrong call within the 2 hour blocking phase.
The moment artanis realized fulla had one mana to few it was over :p

A lot of these changes I had to make on the fly, without anyone to consult with but the players and occasionally Acrofales. It's really hard to run a game like this and especially with rules that if you change them can alter the course of the game dramatically, and I realize I've made some mistakes.

yeah and if we had known that we would have planned things out differently as well. We just realized 20 minutes short of the deadline "waitwaitwait a sec. Matt is not dead and we don't need to go all-in on all 3!".
