you can't 1v2 against a blitz/x lane you just can't. you'll get no farm, exp denied, and depending on the other champ. lose the tower. if it's a 1vBlitz+1, just ask for your bi-lane to switch with you, or ask one of them to join you to make it a 2v2

They didn't try and zone me out by putting themselves between me and my creeps, but they didn't push the lane too much or they ended up hard pushing it so the waves reset. Anyway, I guess maybe the lesson is just that I shouldn't be so afraid of missing out on farm against a lane like that. Lane domination lanes are designed to win 2v2 and fuck up 2v1. I guess it's just your first time playing against such a lane that was played to their strengths. Against a Kass/Soraka for instance we won't touch the creep; it'll bounce all the way to our tower, and you'll miss like 50%+ of your exp. And there is jackall you can do about it. holy shit, were you in that one game where Steve and I were playing Kennen and Pantheon and we zoned the opposing Morg so hard that she was still level 3 by the time we both hit 5? lol that was so fucking savage.
No but the game I lost with Yiru and HSGG this morning I was level 7 and their Trist was like 5 with 1/3 my cs it was pretty funny (and sad that we lost that anyways).

Denying has many levels. Complete denying is what raise morale does. XP+$ denying is fully zoning your opponent so the creeps kill each other out of range. $ denying is what he's talking about where they just don't get last hits. Don't get all elitist and say DotA denying is the only way the term should be used

well if he was talking about "experience denying" then he wouldn't have even mentioned it, because that's referred to as "zoning" (as you said) and any champ can do it. it's not like soraka doesn't have the ability to keep enemy champs off creeps
denying refers to killing your own creeps to prevent the enemy champ from getting the gold or the experience that they would have received if the creep died to a fatal blow from the enemy champ
healing a creep is not denying anything. they'll get the experience when it dies 1 or 2 hits later, and in fact you're just giving them more chances to last hit and preventing them from pushing if you heal your creeps, so all in all this was a retarded discussion
that being said, the ability to heal a siege creep that is under tower fire, while your team focuses the tower, is a nice niche ability

that's just because of blue siege creep's imba passive and the extra armor you give it.

**Edit- Also do I need to be level 30 with full mastery points/runes before I can effectively start out jungling? with warwick no, you do not have to be level 30 with runes to effectively jungle, although as with any character, it is easier when you have them. when i play warwick i either open Longsword+Hp pot and go to mini golems, or i open sight ward, cloth armor, and hp pots, and start at mana golem(depending on threat level from the enemy team for a early junglegank) if i start at mini golems i open up with W, if i start at mana i open with Q, at level 2 i take whichever of those i didnt take at level 1, at level 3 i get Q again, and at level 4 i dont spend my point yet(i use it in E for a speed boost, but i wait to level it until i start a gank so it doesnt give away positioning if they are already low) just remember E is a double edged sword, you can see them and run faster, but they know you're near as well and either run back to tower or countergank you. generally i try to gank once i have lizard buff, and whether or not you succeed, you can still help give lane dominance to your teammates, when i have enough money i go back to base and get razors, and level 1 boots for the rest of the game just make sure you're dragoning whenever its up and not too risky, ganking when opportunistic, covering lanes, etc. the normal jungle stuff my skill build is usually R>Q>E>W (except for that first point in W earlygame) i usually will build my boots into merc treads, although when this happens in the game entirely depends on who the enemy team is made up of, which also greatly effects which tanky items i get(i always build bloodrazor+full tank items)when i finish bloodrazors vs. getting tank items also depends on the teams and how the game is going, GA is good, Force of nature is usefull MR(and extra move speed), as is banshees veil, heavy auto attackers get thornmail, just general tanky items later game in teamfights i generally try to Q on cooldown, stay alive, and ult a target if a stun is needed on them, in teamfights always remember your ult is interruptable so dont count on it for damage, just use it as a stun/closer if you need to catch one of them before they get into a safe location away from your team. if im not taking a lot of damage ill try to smack whoever i can for the bloodrazor damage(and lizard slow if you have it) if you are taking a lot of damage try to use your speed(from E) to dodge as much damage as possible while darting in and out using Q to stay alive and whittle them down(since it does 20% of their hp before MR )
Edit: remind me what i forgot smash and utahhhh!

edit: pwnt by turkey,
only thing ill add, is you wanna buffwhore for quite a while unless some1 else needs mana golem more than you (heimer, kayle and karthus come to mind immediately but there are others too), but you should be able to take it just fine the first 2-3 times

I enjoy playing cookiecutters in this current stage of LET'S GET LOTSA TANK ITEMS.

*shrugs* looks like you covered it pretty well to me turkey. Sunfire is worth mentioning on him IMO, but at the same time, his effective HP is already so high from his self-heals that stacking Armor and mRes is typically better than giving a flying fuck about HP. GA should be almost always your first tanking item on him for that reason IMO and then after that you could probably just stack chain vest and negatron and be good for the rest of the game. I still see a lot of WWs that I respect going Sunfire after GA though, so w/e, I think it's at least noteworthy.

also bkb would put olaf next to the curb side, since that's basically what his ult is
altho, 2x bkb would be kinda cool, be un-cc'able forever *strokes chin*

it's not like he's imba or anything, but it is frustrating when I do my ability and it yields an unexpected result.

I think this metagame phase is my favorite so far. AoE was too fast and explodey, BEARPHOENIX was stupid, healcomp was just ridiculous, and poketeams were frustrating and shut out all of the heroes I liked to play.
|
my favorite was the metagame where I could jump on people and stab them a lot, but I guess this one where I spin my giant sword around like an idiot is kinda fun too.

Get multiple Quicksilver Sashes, like the fucking Shen vs Galio.
