You use Crescent Strike, and then while the Q is still in mid air you use Lunar Rush so they hit almost at the same time. That way your opponent doesn't have as much time to avoid the R follow up and because you fire Q just beforehand you get the instant reset.

I keep hearing this in some streams and in the All-Stars games and I'm a bit lost. It seems like teams are favoring stronger early-mid game adcs right now (blue ezreal, draven, etc...) or at least adcs that can dominate the laning phase and snowball. Kennen is one of those adcs that are very strong in early/mid game because of his potential for lane aggression.

You lose so much of his team fight potencial when you play him as ad carry

That way your opponent doesn't have as much time to avoid the R follow up and because you fire Q just beforehand you get the instant reset. Basically you aim right at the opponent with both Q and R and then use E right as your R hits, pulling the opponent back to your Q and resetting your R even if they try to dodge the Q. OP. Some koreans pros are really good at timing it right. You just do it as fast as possible, no timing required. Everyone definitely doesn't do it. Some koreans pros are really good at timing it right. It doesn't just seem like it, your Q lands about a second after the ult but resets anyway. It even is so stupid that it doesn't reset if your Q would have oneshot the minions even if your ult doesn't kill it.

Also I just don't have any fun playing Sona anymore, I just feel so useless. I know a lot of her power comes from her auras, but the heal is weak, the damage is weak, and the MS buff is just utility. So apart from W/E powerchord and my ult, I feel useless past laning and early roaming/grouping stages. I dunno if it's me playing too badly (I usually build locket and crucible, aegis if noone does it) or the habit of playing higher-impact champs (Leona, Lulu, Zyra). Her ult's a game changer, but often when I use it it doesn't feel like I did too much. Maybe it's tied to the teamcomps, last Sona game I had we had a tanky Lee jungle, Singed top, Anivia mid, and Ezreal, we should have been able to disengage/counterengage/kite/poke well I guess, but most of the fights I had to ult to save somebody (2 members of the team made a point of running 2v4 and feeding Vayne and we didn't have the resources to 100-0 her during a stun), and several times I got a 4-5 man ult to save an ally that got caught just to see him turn back and try to re-initiate 3v5 instead of running and regrouping. Maybe I should only pick her in high damage teams, or against low mobility to make the most out of E. :/

As I mentioned above, you can Q, ult in, and E to pull them into the Q. It's really stupid strong. Again the only ones I've seen using this are the Koreans even though it indeed is extremely easy.

Hasn't every decent Diana player been doing this since near release? How are people attributing that as a Korean thing lmao. The Asian circlejerk never ends.

also ever since watching OGN i've been manning up a lot, especially as support. flash/crescendo, flash/exhaust, flash/slow power chord, etc. playing on the border of aggression, especially as support, is awesome and exciting On May 26 2013 01:30 Shikyo wrote: Yup, even if you plink it(about 1 frame in between Q and R and using smartcast) it resets it way after your ult lands. K I was so confused by your mention of a Korean QR style when I and every other good Diana player I see has been abusing this for months, and then your statement that only Korean do it that I youtubed diana scarra. And literally the first video I get to shows him 'doing it' (I feel so silly saying that, everyone who plays Diana does this) in a random solo q game in the first gank I watched to: Sorry... I just hate when people attribute stuff to the Asian scene that isn't special/original/whatever. They are good enough as is, we don't need to exaggerate everything by circlejerking to every thing they do.

I think Misaya was the first person to do it consistently and impressively in a pro game during the season 2 playoffs. He really took Diana to another level, and I think only got to play her in 1 game because of that (she was banned always). But you're right, it's really nothing special now. One of the biggest criticisms of the nerf that took Diana's R range to 750 was how incompatible that range was with her Q range, because at that point everyone was casting R and Q simultaneously.
