Eve works well early on before the money for an oracle comes in, and can very well set up an easy first blood with a good laning partner. But later on, she's pretty much toast. Stun and nuke. | ||

Mundo can 1v1 Eve at any point in the game with even gold, while not flopping over and dying in teamfights. Shaco can jungle a little by himself, is much better at ganks, can incinerate turrets, and most importantly can actually escape. Twitch can't be totally shut down with 400 gold. Also, he does AoE damage, can gank more safely (doesn't rely on getting kills to survive), has decent CC, and can not only survive but single-handedly win teamfights. | ||

Does your friend get a meki pendant or anything like that to help with mana regen so he can spam Spirit Fire to protect the tower? Even with the proper runes and masteries I find that I still run low on mana in the early game if I'm soloing. I wish this game had a replay function so I could actually WATCH how other nasus players play. edit: oh and the best game I ever had with Nasus was 18-1-10 ^_^ | ||

He rarely gets low on mana and if he does he usually told me beforehand so i go and defend lane while he goes to town. But most of the times he doesn't have to go back before i reach lvl 6 and when i reach lvl 6 I obviously gank them so then he can go back if needed while i care for (sometimes empty when gank is very succesful he heee) lane. And yeah, i can't wait for replay option... EDIT: Yeah, i just spoke to my friend and he told me that he goes 11 utility and usually that's enough (when not then he just calls me back on lane) | ||

To an extent I believe that's the case for most of the "top-tier" AoE disablers. They all have massive "comeback" potential which prevents you from ever being out of the game... until the other team is superfarmed. That's why Amumu and Morgana, with their game-changing ults, are constantly ranked decently (mid-tier). Cho'Gath is ranked decently because of his AoE 4-second silence, while Morde is considered an "okay" hero because he'll stay on top if he's ahead, but he'll almost never sway a game when he falls behind. Honestly, at your level Ryze is probably swaying games more often because you can "roll your face across the keyboard and own" with him, and people are more-often-than-not simply "rolling their faces across their keyboards," both with and against him. | ||

Ryze is plenty explosive enough to merit your team's attention, but the problem is that he just gets focused down SOOO quickly. Pretty much any self respecting stun is enough to guarantee his death before he can blow his load. in other news, ggs last night TLers. Sorry that my Ali is still way too aggressive early game. I have such a hard time adjusting the fact that I basically do no damage and can't take efficiently without my ult :p. That second game was a trainwreck, but the opposing team seemed pretty solid. | ||

my tank build I usually do with him 0-21-9, merc treads sheen banshee veil warden's mail/thornmail (depends if their carries have MR or not) aegis frozenheart/sunfire cape(if some one else is building frozen) game still going? finish tri-force DPS build 21-0-9 Merc treads Sheen Stark's banshee veil infinity edge phage game still going? finish mallet. I've had success with both, just depends on their team comp and mine. I usually make a decision at loading screen usually run Ghost/cleanse or Ghost/exhaust or rally | ||
