IH (In-House) and Gathers are 5v5 games were the teams are qued together to play each other. Usually there is voice communication requirements and you play with and against the same group of players. I assume there are none for LoL at the moment then. What TL Vent Channel you guys use and what's it's password? The DotA/HoN channel is protected so I assume the LoL one is as well. How do you communicate in the game? You guys join an specific channel? If so what's the name? How often does the TL crew get together to play games and when you guys do is it usually to pubstomp or to play against other organized teams? Also would you consider the TL community active in LoL? *Really pissed that Riot hasn't released things that were promised a long time ago >.< But I can live with that. I will be joining you guys soon I just need to re-download the game :p O.K. So Riot isn't running any tournaments is anyone else? With matchmaking doing a reasonable job, I'm not sure anyone cares. As a side note on this, I'm fairly sure about 2 patches ago they changed matchmaking to be less stringent -- queue times have become VERY short (often instant!) but matchups can be wonky. Before, we once waited 20 minutes with a 5 man (some of TLs better players, so it was hard to find a team with an equivalent rating counting the 5man bump). More recently, we've played a game where we were up 10-0 on kills and 2-0 on towers pretty early on -- it was clear that, despite the premake penalty, everyone on our team was better than everyone on their team. | ||

Glad Illy was a veteran backdoor-er. If I was playing Twitch that game I'm not sure we would have actually lost the 5v5 fights anyways, but I'm definitely not experienced enough with him to backdoor properly  | ||

EDIT: MM is still far from perfect, but it seems to have come a long way since I started. You still get the occasional ROFLstomp game, but on average, MM is giving me way better games than when I started. | ||
