Rek(smuft) started with a 3 gate into a 5-7 gate rush while KHB did a 2 factory 2 barracks expansion defence oriented game. Rek(smuft) had slightly more saturated mineral line, so he could expand a bit before KHB while keeping the pressure up. He eventually broke the defence line and KHB had to give up his expansion but he still had another expansion and did some good harassment on rek's(smuft) other expansion. Rek(smuft) didn't have a very strong economy for a amount of time and his armies got slaughtered by KHB's military fortress but Rek(smuft) won in the end. From what I saw Rek(smuft)made more probes and had better economy early game. This is what made him win the game since he could make an expansion earlier than what KHB could | ||

He really was about to win but he had a micro and a macro issue. 1) he let hydras attack his mutas for no reason when he attacked KHB's lair and apparently went to do something else. 2) He had 1300 minerals at the begining of KHB's final attack. I noticed he had no queens. 1300 minerals is 52 lings, along with the mutas, would have rolled over KHB's hydras. | ||

One of my favourite streamers so far :D edit: Also Bladerunner (who must have good taste ) + Show Spoiler +I think he wouldve been fine even if that bunker went down..his banshees would be out to save his min line and machine didnt even have a hydra den building (im pretty sure..) It's still an awesome clutch moment to see, same thing happened with the red health overlord too! | ||

Just my thoughts, I'm no expert, just the view of a spectator Also, anyone who plays Random exclusively gets props for me because it shows you want to learn about ALL the new aspects of the new game. Another example of this is how he typically watches the replay of each good match he plays to figure out the timing/bo each opponent used. | ||

He went mass phoenixes there were at least 7 when an attack came his way. He was able to use the anti gravity on 5 stalkers while 3 picked the ones flying off. It was impressive micro and even tho he had to pull probes off the line. He lost his main nexus (skillfully he had 415 minerals before it died). But he continued to use those phoenixes, waiting until energy was refilled and then actually attacking the enemy head on while they were taking their natural expansion. He pulled out the victory with 90% of the win going to phoenixes. It was great use of anti grav and a wonderful come from behind i certainly didnt expect. If KHB puts the replay up, well, lets say i think you like all of the 100+ people on the steam, will be impressed. | ||
