I dont know where you live but here in America we preface everything with "the"
Get it together.
It is United States of America, without the, even in American English. Although it is "the United States", because you do not specify which states those are but it is assumed that the states are American. Just so you know
Anyway, was it a fucking great game or what?! GO UKRAINE!!!
I`m glad that Sweden lost. I was rooting for them at the beginning, but when they didnt stop playing when there was a ukranian guy on the field with a injury and they scored, I lost all respect for them.

rofl, you don't stop playing at any point of time just because there is guy lying down. Not all guys lying down are dying of an heart attack or has a broken leg and needs the game to stop.
Sweden was in a good offensive position at that time and you just don't stop unless there is some serious shit going on in which case you'd be aware of.

While i dont necessairly disagree with you (as there are a lot of simulants in football today) the real stars would just kick the ball away like Zidanne for example

Not really .. . Its completely on the players volition when he has the ball and frankly if the opponent has gone down from something innocuous even Zidane isnt going kicking any balls out in the Euro's unless the opposing team goes balls out nuts complaining and stops playing (which is poor form and actually cheap so they dont do it).
Not like Zidane is some paragon of fair play.. you want to see fair play,
and even this is the exception not the rule. Hes well within his rights to bury that header.

No you don't. Look at the examples he posted. I'll add one that might make it more clear to you: "This summer I'm going on vacation to the Canada." And "get it together"? Seriously? If you're gonna be snarky at least be correct.. like me!
Having said that, Cheerio you just have to accept that that's the way it's phrased in English. It doesn't make much sense but there it is.
I thought the "get it together" would signify I was joking.

Its just a spill over from the Soviet era.
It took my dad forever to stop calling the Czech Republic, Czechoslovakia or atleast it felt like forever. People will stop doing it eventually.
i actually think that wilhelmsson is pretty good, but why the fuck did they let Rosenberg play for so long? he didnt do anything good yesterday and wasnt at the right place a single time.
Also Lustig, worst game from him ever and i doubt that he will play like this the next game.
Sweden's mid midfielder didnt touch the ball on first Half so pretty much whole sweden sucked yesterday

U know that people in Football are "deadly injured" like 50times / game ye?
Ofc they wont play out the ball if they are in offensive? sure if they had the ball on own half around the defencemen they could play out the ball, but everyone in football nowadays are italians dying everyother minute

Honestly, this isn't something I have a problem with at all. As a matter of fact, I get pissed off when players stop playing because of someone lying down, writhing on the ground. You're supposed to play until the referee blows his whistle, and in the modern football there's just so much acting going on you can never know if the guy is actually hurt or not. I say keep playing.
Also, I wouldn't call Di Canio a paragon of fair play either. He has his moments, but he's also on the opposite side of the line more often than not, pushing referees and whatnot...

That was the irony I was trying to point out actually.
I don't get the point of ur debates,Sweden played how they had to play,it's not about fair play or simulations, every one got own "right" opinion,besides...
the game will be forgotten, but the result remains unchanged
P.S. Some of u may think, that what u see on ur TV can't be so painful, recommending u to play against good players with strong constitution as almost all the national Sweden team got, even a little touch while running, potentially, could be really painful and dangerous, and may cause an injure of different types. But the most serious injures,as i realise, can be caused when players goes to play harder and more dangerously, such as backtackling with two legs, and when a player injures himself,f.e when he unsuccessfully steppted his feet or smashed on the grass after heading

He was pretty good, he was the only one that actually dared to go 1vs1 in the offensive.
I really hope Rosenberg will watch the Euro 2012 from the sidelines in the upcoming matches.
Also how the hell didn't Lustig get replaced is beyond me.
A little sad about Sweden loosing, but we didn't play the best. Some players like Lustig were completely invisible the entire game. Happy for Schevchenko. Hope he gets to finish his amazing career with more goals like those he scored against us.
