To start off, how do you explain the fact that despite tremendous advances in women's rights in recent western society, the propaganda machine that lights up and screams sexism more or less all the time, even though we've come closer than ever to gender equality, even to a point where women definitely hold some unfair advantages (see laws on alimony, false accusations of rape, psychopaths getting impregnated without their partner's consent so that they can exploit said laws on alimony and/or false accusations of rape, list goes on and on honestly).

I'm not sure if you're aware of this phenomenon, but it's starting to gain more and more popularity and leverage: there's basically a bunch of subreddits, tumblrs, blogs and various other online communities starting to grow, filled to the brim with very frustrated, possibly emotionally traumatized, bile-spewing, irrational, incomprehensible extremist feminists that do pretty much nothing other than demonize and vilify the middle-class white male of western society as though the entire demographic is the ultimate exponent of tyranny, ignorance, malevolence and primal animal behaviour.

The hypocrisy of these poor souls and the incongruence of their beliefs with reality is absolutely appalling. First off, the fact that they continue to shun the aforementioned white males of western society despite the fact that they've already managed to reach a state of gender equality for the most part and are getting quite close to tipping it in the other direction. You know, instead of bring attention to middle-eastern or african societies were women are generally treated far far poorer, let's harp on the men *here* and make them out to be a bunch of Hitlers ready to rape and brutalize women on a whim, even though we enjoy the same rights and can abuse our gender to get unjust advantages in this very society.

So basically you have a bunch of sexually frustrated and potentially emotionally scarred women that take out their personal issues (which stem from their own past ineptitude) on men as a whole, thereby:
- performing the aforementioned indiscriminate demonization of white males
- generally also demonizing women of higher social status who are attractive and not afraid to express their sexuality ("what a slut; she's destroying everything feminists are working for" etc)
- conveniently ignoring any sort of unfair advantage that their sexuality and/or social preconceptions brings them, or even worse being extremely entitled as though it's their birthright and they're inherently superior due to their gender (lol do you see the irony here?)
- trying their very hardest to further engrain said preconceptions into pop culture and trying to influence as many of the younger males to become spineless subservient "Yes ma`am!" worshippers who will shower them with attention while the girls still fawn over the very male stereotype they vilify (because as it turns out, no amount of propaganda, hypocrisy, deceit or bullshit will change what's been hardwired into your brain from millenia of evolution; oh and by looking at the phenomenon of internet whiteknighting, I'd say it's not looking too good)

And if you think that I've based my entire case off an isolated incident, I'm afraid to tell you that you're very wrong. Go out there on the internet. Look for these groups. You'll be surprised how much traction they're starting to get, especially in the ranks of angsty teens / college students who think they just figured out how society works and fuck the system maaan. And you'll be even more surprised to see that most of their arguments and points that they bring up are even poorer than those of our misguided friend GnarlyAbitrage, these people will literally make shit up, put up strawmans and bash the everloving shit out of them while ignoring reality. And sometimes you get humongous tl;dr posts full of "you're literally hitler"-type claims.

So yeah... those are my qualms with feminism in its current state.
