Description
TeamLiquid is recruiting Korean to English and Chinese to English translators. Translators will be responsible for the translation of ESPORTS related texts of interest, which we expect to be mostly comprised of interviews and news articles. We are looking for translators for both Starcraft: Brood War and Starcraft 2 related materials.
Translators should be self-motivated and find articles of interest to translate on a regular basis and also be available to translate specific articles on request.
Requirements
Fluency or near-fluency in both the source and translation language.
Familiarity with the ESPORTS scenes in Korea/China and the important community/news sites in their respective scenes.

- Your TeamLiquid ID and online messenger contact information (MSN, AIM, Gchat, Skype etc).
- Two sample translations of ESPORTS related articles. Preferably one interview and one news article.
*This is an unpaid position.

Man, if I could read more Chinese, I would totally apply. I can speak Chinese pretty well, but I can't write proficiently anymore T.T

My procrastination knows no bounds, and I guess even if I feel like translating periodically I would prefer being an free-lancer. Hope some other dedicated translators decide to join TL though

if you feel like translating periodically without the responsibilities of being staff, then please do that ^^;;
