1. dunno, i'm kinda random with watchtowers, usually i'll take them early game when i'm paying attention
2. you need 3 bunkers with that build before your ghosts pop - ive lost too many games to stalker runbys etc not to be protective with bunkers.
3. I have my dota tendencies and tend to just click on the map rather than minimap. Bad player habbit, but dunno, guess your army was where I hovered and clicked on the map.
4. I think I was waiting for cloak to finish on that, maybe it was the game before, I was pushing with ghosts, and didnt want to engage before that. Not sure if it was this game however
5. This was one of those "ohshit" he's not going any robo, has twilight, dt probably on the way moments. Also, I kinda play by the flow, sometimes I make my turrets at good times, sometimes I die straight up to invis stuff.
6. one dt poked its head into my nat / main, I assumed there would be more dts split up (at least thats what I like to do with them in team games when i play toss :p )
The big factor within this game however, if I remember correctly, was that I loaded up two dropships at the very end, only to have you attack me right as my drop ships were out. Doing that drop probably sealed my fate in this game - I probably could have held your attack if I had those units and the dropships to heal my doods in my base. If I did hack, I would not have executed that drop - I guessed that you wouldn't push me and got punished for my bad guess.
Anyway, i've played thousands of sc2 games, and the one thing that I've learned is that people's reactions in sc2 are fairly consistant. I try to use this principal in my games to get an economic advantage by taking risk with timings, scan use, etc - sometimes I brilliantly do this and beat a pro every once in a while as a result. However, more often than not, I get fucking raped by things like 3 gate robo, 3 gate vr, straight up dt rushes, baneling busts, colossi tech switches, etc the list goes on. I guess I play sc2 like I do chess - I should probably learn to play the real way, but I'm the opposite of a mechanical player: taking economic risks, trying to guess/predict the most possible outcome in the domain of known possibilities, and attempting to use intellect alone is how I enjoy playing

This caught my interest so I've watched the replay to give my impression about this replay. TL;DR : I do not see any solid evidence to prove any hack.
First of all, sending two marines is odd, indeed, but it can't prove anything in my opinion. Strangely enough, you think 2 marines at a watchtower is odd but finding your proxy pylon directly is not (maybe this spot is common, I play on EU and usually I find proxy pylons close to the 3rd, but heh, it can't prove anything aswell). The scouting he does at start is enough to know your position, so he can play extremely defensively and not die (terrans and their bunkers :p )... which is who I interpret the bunkers. He may very well know timings and by teching ghost and expanded, he is vulnerable. Furthermore you could squeeze in units if you were really committed to this attack only so extra safety seems totally reasonable (or else he would just lose horribly)
"Seems to retake map control as soon as I am out of position" : well this does not mean much, he deflected your assault, therefore you have to send back your army home... I don't get it.
"11:14 clicks and hovers over my army, panning his camera through fog to get a better view?" I fail to see how he "hovers" over your army, considering between 11:11 and 11:14, he just clicked like a maniac on his way and that at 11:14, when you switch to everyone's view, your army is in the corner of the screen. Unless I'm mistaken, "hovering over" for me implies that your army was approximately in the middle of HIS screen, which is never was.
11:25 repositions a portion of his army right before his vision rage of my units, kind of lingers over them* I didn't even react to this at first while watching from his point of view. He regroups his army with the core unit : the ghost. Why would he push with 2 ghosts on their way but not in the battlefield yet ? The fact that you are very close is purely coincidental to me, maybe it struck him that you could be seeing him (and if he's very good, he saw at 11:26 the xel'naga tower occupied or just assume he could be seen so decided to regroup where he regrouped)
weirdly 'perfect' turret timing in regards to my shrine this game which was completely unorthodox
I just put that on the account of safety. I randomly throw down spore and spinecrawler in my games too after some time against protoss. Sometimes the DTs come before and I rage, sometimes I catch them. I know DTs can really throw me off so I assume someone who played a lot does not want to get caught off guard like a newb
15:25 - this one is the kicker: prestims his units to intercept dts to 3rd before vision to save turret.** Well he just killed a DT at your nat, he is expecting DTs at the third (splitting up DTs is known to be the best way to use them no ?). Since it's not a planetary, he knows he can lose very very quickly any turrets and be in trouble. The only thing he loses if the stim was not necessary is medivac energy, he stims because he needs it. It looks like he has a lot a ladder experience and I'm guessing he already lost because he did not stim to save his 3rd which was an orbital in another game :p It's a gamble and he knows the risk of putting down an orbital there :p
The fact he loads 2 medivac juste before your final attack is quite striking as well, if he really had any maphack, he wouldn't do that :p
I'd say he just has some good game sense and plays quite safely.
Edit : Damn LicH posted his impressions just before, sorry if I offended you :p

I'll say it first that theres no super solid evidence. Its actually not obvious at all I think he either locked his camera for replays while peeking or just stuck to watching the minimap.
Suspicious stuff: He never builds an observer and never takes control of the towers. He scouts dead on on his first attempt and despite having flaws in his macro/micro shows grandmaster level scouting ability.
Incredibly suspicious activity: He positions his stalkers to intercept mutalisks and blinks them within range literally in a fraction of a second.
He relys only on (implied) intuition and knowledge of common timings to make his attacks on expansions without scouting them beforehand.
He doesn't really look at the queens, he's attacking your OL with a void ray and I can understand why the camera is where it is. If I see void rays I might take a quick third. He could either have played a lot of games and known it was within the realm of possibility or simply have been hunting for overlords to kill with his void ray. I mean when you make mutas you scout with them and try to snipe things right? The blink stalker positioning and micro and worst of all reaction speed is fucking crazy good. Way better than he is in every other aspect of the game. Especially the 2nd poke you made with mutas near a mengsk statue next to his third. His reactions are just too fast compared to his decisions.
Honestly I'd base all suspicion on his stalker positioning/reactions alone. The others can be written off as luck/basic scouting but those stalkers are some of the best positioning I've ever seen.
I'd put him down as unconfirmed. If he is hacking there will be another report soon.
Those blink stalkers though.. its bothering me how good they were.

Then, UnderCover let Deezer play on his account (For whatever reason) and Deezer stream sniped well known players like Idra and when he beat them admitted that it was Deezer playing on the account. This in no way means Deezer hacks. He was recently kicked from his team for this mix up.

First of all, sorry for being so behind in replays - my fault, but I've been running TL off my phone as I'm having some terrible internets issues and then my PC took a shit, excuses excuses.
Secondly, I'd like to let everyone know (including Probe1) that we're taking him on as an official reviewer - I'd like to thank him personally for helping me out by watching the replays while I'm behind. This a) keeps the thread moving and b) allows me to catch up when real life obligations cause replays to stack up.
All this means is that he is alongside me and Arb now, if he says you have submitted a non-hack replay, don't dismiss him as "some guy" - he holds the same weight that I or arb does. Also when we have a very difficult replay to judge, we get together and do a group run-through and come up with a conclusion based on this. yay <3
Onto the reps.

This on is still a little iffy, Ryuu. At least personally - I'll send it out for review.
The reason I say that is this:
He proxies his pylon in a peculiar spot, however for the same reason the last two Shakuras haven't been hacks is because of the map spawns. He had a 50/50 chance of getting the proxy correct. If he's right? Sweet he's got gateways in your main.
If he's wrong? He's got a proxy Pylon outside your two main's choke. I am a little unsure about this being a hack simply because he checks to see if your Nexus is actually there, then goes and makes his gateways. He doesn't just go in, build gates and rally them to your minerals without ever seeing you. Going to put this one up for review.

Checked his match history, every PvP he plays is the same duration ~4 minutes for this guy, with him winning.
I don't think this is a hacker. For the same reason above, however this proxy location is so popular - It's right in between both bases...you pick the wrong one, oh well, just run to the other one with an extra zealot / handful of marines. I think the reason his matches are so short is because he looks actually pretty good - or he is just real damn good at proxy games. It's possible this is a smurf or a good player who had some shit luck in placements and is crawling up through the ladder.
If people feel I am wrong, let me know.
The base peek at 5:40 and the proxy pylon snipe is evidence enough - those are the only two I wrote down. :p

You are right - imo.
He looks in your base multiple times. I didn't even bother writing down timestamps because he practically played half the game looking at your base. the "Nice 6rax" or whatever was kinda funny, too.
However, the best part (imo) is when you're trying to get up his ramp, and he storms the HELL out of you, his HT had like 20 marine kills instantaneously. Hahahaha. Stim + Storm is a marines worst nightmare.
As far as reports from Blizzard, I don't think you get a reply usually, unless they need more information from you. I don't get replies from them when I've been submitting hacks and such.

It's possible he had production hacks...or just used the minimap? I have a few timestamps written down
2:00 Goes to proxy you, but you see him and he aborts. Blind scouted. 11:05 is the only time I really can say he's suspicious with his camera. The 8:20 mark - I would have been wtaching the same spot. I KNOW you have at least one queen by this point, and I want to run my single VR out when I see that queen. 11:05 however he looks much farther into the fog, this is more reasonable. I think him finding this expansion could be dismissed in a normal game, as he was just checking...does Z have their third yet? He also saw Lings so he would have figured you were there for a reason anyways. 16:00 and on - this is where I am going to confirm him, and then use the rest of the stuff as a back up to confirmation. He sets those stalkers there AGES before your mutas even think about showing up. And then his god-tier reflexes to the mutas turning slightly south of his stalkers?
The guy can't even macro 2 gateways off of 2 bases and you expect me to believe he could pull that off? If people disagree, we can talk about it, but as far as I'm confirmed, this guy had a hack of SOME sort. He just didn't give a crap enough to FOW scout you - he was building one of everything anyways, it looked like.

Also, I kinda play by the flow, sometimes I make my turrets at good times, sometimes I die straight up to invis stuff. 6. one dt poked its head into my nat / main, I assumed there would be more dts split up (at least thats what I like to do with them in team games when i play toss :p ) The big factor within this game however, if I remember correctly, was that I loaded up two dropships at the very end, only to have you attack me right as my drop ships were out.
Textbook example of how to come into this thread when someone is accusing you. I bet even if I had confirmed you, you would have replied the same way. Thanks for not coming in here and causing a riot. <3

TL;DR : I do not see any solid evidence to prove any hack.+ Show Spoiler +First of all, sending two marines is odd, indeed, but it can't prove anything in my opinion. Furthermore you could squeeze in units if you were really committed to this attack only so extra safety seems totally reasonable (or else he would just lose horribly) "Seems to retake map control as soon as I am out of position" : well this does not mean much, he deflected your assault, therefore you have to send back your army home... I don't get it. "11:14 clicks and hovers over my army, panning his camera through fog to get a better view?"I fail to see how he "hovers" over your army, considering between 11:11 and 11:14, he just clicked like a maniac on his way and that at 11:14, when you switch to everyone's view, your army is in the corner of the screen. The fact that you are very close is purely coincidental to me, maybe it struck him that you could be seeing him (and if he's very good, he saw at 11:26 the xel'naga tower occupied or just assume he could be seen so decided to regroup where he regrouped) weirdly 'perfect' turret timing in regards to my shrine this game which was completely unorthodox
I just put that on the account of safety. I randomly throw down spore and spinecrawler in my games too after some time against protoss. Sometimes the DTs come before and I rage, sometimes I catch them. I know DTs can really throw me off so I assume someone who played a lot does not want to get caught off guard like a newb 15:25 - this one is the kicker: prestims his units to intercept dts to 3rd before vision to save turret.**Well he just killed a DT at your nat, he is expecting DTs at the third (splitting up DTs is known to be the best way to use them no ?). Since it's not a planetary, he knows he can lose very very quickly any turrets and be in trouble. The only thing he loses if the stim was not necessary is medivac energy, he stims because he needs it. It looks like he has a lot a ladder experience and I'm guessing he already lost because he did not stim to save his 3rd which was an orbital in another game :p It's a gamble and he knows the risk of putting down an orbital there :p The fact he loads 2 medivac juste before your final attack is quite striking as well, if he really had any maphack, he wouldn't do that :p I'd say he just has some good game sense and plays quite safely. Edit : Damn LicH posted his impressions just before, sorry if I offended you :p
Excellent write up. Thanks a lot! Appreciate the help, even if he came in here and told us himself.

At first i thought it was because he was very close to the edge, but even after my colossus backs away the tank still shoots it. He eventually scans, but he could still hit it before. This also happens again at 14:39. Also more minor things: In the beginning i send my probe to the corner of his base out of his vision, then i move it to another location that is still outside of his vision. He sends his marine to the exact new location of the probe. Let me know what you guys think. im pretty sure you can see colossi on the high ground from the low ground Oh i didn't know that. Okay that makes alot more sense now
Yeah. It's a side-effect of the colossus being classified both an air unit and a ground unit - vision treats it as an air unit.

Further contemplation on Needs Review FaTCat: Undeterminable TamadaLOKI: Luck/No evidence
Arguments/Reflections enclosed inside spoiler. + Show Spoiler +FatCaT Reacts seemingly impossibly early to an SCV Marine all-in + Show Spoiler +[NEEDS REVIEW]Hacker Name: FatCaT Replay:http://www.gamereplays.org/starcraft2/replays.php?game=33&show=download&id=212199 Description: Reacts seemingly impossibly early to an SCV Marine all-in, also prepares by dropping three spine crawlers. I want to talk with the other members of the team about this replay, however feel free to watch and chime in. DO NOT STOP WATCHING until the end of the game - If you leave after the Terran's all-in, you will miss half of the reason why I'm putting this up for review - his army does not find the Terran's floated buildings for quite some time. I gave it another few watches and I can't get past his preemptive defense to an all in. Its so so good. And why does he guess where his opponent spawned? But how he leaves mutas everywhere on the map at the end and scouts for the buildings.. Its weird that he attack moves his drones while they're still on the ramp to a few places to the left of the mineral patches, or that he drone transfers at all. But he scouts close air and uses xel naga towers like a normal player.. There's still too many what ifs and whys. Hopefully with more input or unfortunately another replay we can rest this one. In regards to TamadaLOKI+ Show Spoiler +[NEEDS REVIEW]Hacker Name:TamadaLOKI Replay:http://drop.sc/11884 Description: Proxys gateways on Shakuras. This map is hard to judge based on proxies with how spawns work. However he does not proxy in the middle behind the grass like normal. He proxies below the third and drops gateways in the main of the opponent. HOWEVER. He drops a pylon in this location, then scouts to confirm his opponent is actually there, and THEN goes to put gateways down. This is why I am hesitant to confirm. Maybe he was just banking on not being in the wrong spot, and if he was, he would just have less optimal proxied gateways? Let me know what you all think. I don't see anything conclusive. Insanely lucky but no conclusive evidence. He only built a proxy pylon (Though it was his first pylon) before preforming a completely orthodox scout to see if his opponent was there. If he hadn't scouted before the gateway I'd feel a lot stronger but after watching it multiple times on varied speeds and all perspectives; There's just no proof. I need to see pivotal, undeniable evidence instead of just fantastic, even improbable, luck. I'm sorry.
