While scouting the proxy is incredible, there just isn't any other evidence of map hacking. In addition, XNC being one of the oldest maps and that being a very frequent proxy position, I'm afraid there isn't anything to prove a map hack was used.

It is a ZvP on Shakuras where he went to Forge FE and I reacted with a quick third. After that he did not scout at all, did not build any army, then perfectly blind-countered my muta-ling composition with archon zealot from two base.

Lack of sufficient evidence. The Templar Archives were started before the Spire. Way too much room to justify not hacking to say it was hacking.

Not enough evidence. Where he looks he sends a probe and scouts before making a pylon.

There are proxy 2 gates that are difficult to discern whether they had a map hack or not. This is not one of those. After staring at your base once he makes his gates without bothering to scout it.. Yeah, map hacker.

I'm going to agree with Chocolate and Adam4167. You can't really extrapolate anything from saving larvae in this instance and as Adam put it, he had a 50-50 chance of being right by sending his lings to the top right. It becomes even more plausible when the alternate choice is cross position.

The description of the game and suspected hacking is as follows:

- Both players open standard on Abyssal Caverns, with me going FFE and him 14 pool/gas.

However, I'm quite torn about sending a report to Blizzard for the following reasons:

- @7:30 His roaches engage me when I have a void. (If he was map hacking, no need to attack)
- @10:00 He doesn't respond well to my void poke. (i.e. he wasn't prepared / expecting it)

If you guys could help me out and give me your blessing, I'd send / not send the report with your comments.

Sometimes it's difficult to tell because you start to contemplate every single camera movement and question every single decision. Some map hackers are baddies even with full vision. The fact that he continually pans over your main for no justifiable reason and looks directly at the carrier. Yeah right. Map hacking.

On viewing the vision of my opponent, it was quite clear that this player was using a map hack. He never sent out a scout or scanned. His vision moves to where my SCV does a pirouette at the Xel'Naga tower and continually looks at my base before rushing with marines.

Got this replay from a friend of mine.

ZvP

Zerg plays 7 RR, P doesnt scout at all (all game) and blindly builds forge w 4 cannons.
When Mutalisk arrive a bit later he moves his stalkers in place before he can see the mutas.
He continues to build nothing but stalkers but instantly switches to zealots when Z starts building lings.

He doesnt use any hotkeys, thats why his reactions are kinda slow at times, because he has to box his units first =_=

He doesnt scout ever, even builds an obs and never uses it.

Also at 13.37 (no joke) and once more shortly after, he sseems to check out Zs armee through the fog. he ddidnt do this before (or i missed it) but clicks straight onto Zs army twice.

IMO this is really really suspicious although probably not 100% sure, mightve been dumb luck :/

Three seperate replays, all with an abundance of long, caring stares into the FOW and short walks right to the unscouted base. The third replay is a proxy 2 gate with no prior knowledge of spawn location while the first two have an abundance of FOW scouting.

maybe the same guy with a new name? Through he wasnt that blatantly obvious (or im just really bad at cheat checking) and its on eu instead of us.

Pretty cut and dry, defends a 7RR without scouting perfectly then happens to guess right where his opponent spawned with a poxy pylon. Add in everything RedJustice listed and its an obvious case.

As a note, I'm certain Stronghobo was hacking, and he is a masters. Atlas, on the other hand, who is a silver player 1v1, played it alot more convincingly. At 15:55, he A-moves literally half a second before he actually sees our army, lifted his CC knowing we were about to scout his expo, builds the raxes on the correct side, and never looked into the fog of war. That said, either he was clever enough to merely only look at the minimap for information, or his friend was telling him over voice communication what was happening. That said, either way, he was using the hack to his advantage.

They were given no clue for the entirety of the opening as to where our base was, yet Stronghobo looked at our base and no other bases (Tempest), especially looking at the wall we made at the bottom of the ramp, and when his lings come out, he knows he doesn't need to move his lings anywhere further than the wall, and knew to go for the pylon instead of the supply depot as that could be repaired.

They are Diamond 2v2 together.

Very convincing replay. Plenty of looks through the FOW without moving his army and reactions to what he couldn't have seen.
