Hello, all! It's become quite apparent that many of you are not reading the first post carefully. Failure to do so in the future will be met with swift punishment. And as always, remember to be civil. Thanks, Empyrean. Time stamp: 03:59 KST.

Yea he might have power over 30,000 people, but you still have to act responsibly and not abuse that power There is a lot less tension that you've imagined. Chill has nothing to do with the TL team and the TL team had nothing to do with the second ban. It's a moderator decision and my guess is that there are a lot more IdrA fans than haters on staff, including Chill himself.

I'm guessing Chill was flooded with PMs bashing him and whatnot; it's expected from a forum of thousands. My question; were these people banned for 90 days as well?

That's over the span of 4 years. It's pretty understandable that a frequent poster who's also a professional gamer would have some bans on hand. If that's all he's received over 4 years, it doesn't look bad at all. Edit: He hasn't been perma banned because despite his attitude, he's a major part of the community and esports. He has a massive following and people love him for both his play and his persona.

Dimaga and TSL2/3) but try to do so with careful deliberation. Please do not think our actions here are simply us spitefully swinging a banhammer. You'd be surprised by the pages of discussions we have of actions that involve high-profile community members, Idra included. Also, regarding the "harassing". Idra on his twitter tried to imply that by being banned, he could no longer stream. That was false. And if we assume he knew it was also false (he probably did), we can then assume that he was maliciously misleading his thousands of twitter followers into a rage against Chill. Thus I think it is fair to say Idra did encourage his fans to go harass Chill. Just want to throw out their that assuming is not proving again. It's the same with the people "assuming" Cruncher cheated so shouldn't be a valid reason for a ban?

What I do not agree with is the 90 day ban. I went to his twitter and the only thing he said was "pm chill if this upsets you" (about his ban). It did not say "spam chill's inbox if this upsets you." It's inequivalent to writing to a congressman to express displeasure. The word "harassment" is thrown around way too much on this thread.

From the OP of thread itself: We spoke with Idra and he stated that he does not regret his actions and will not change his behavior on our forums. Thus, we've decided to ban him for 90 days. Regardless of whether he felt the 2-day ban was justified or not, we cannot tolerate a forum user publicly encouraging harassment of our moderators.

Regarding the specific ban: I think a 90 day ban is a bit harsh for what he did alone but seeing his ban history any other user would have eaten a permaban MUCH EARLIER which sets a negative precedent. He's supposed to set an example here after all, being a progamer and whatnot. All the balance whining, trolling, plain insulting is really not a good thing to do if you have a role model function for so many players. Atleast I hope people will take a bit less to IdrA in these things. The forum would be a better place for it

It has been stated before that the only reason he hasn't been permbanned is because he is a pro player, and pro players get special treatment on TL. His ban history is the worst of any active poster by a significant margin. No one else comes close.

"We spoke with Idra and he stated that he does not regret his actions and will not change his behavior on our forums." Bottom line [imo] - Of corse he doesn't regret his actions, why would he? No point in holding that against him TL. But since it's your forum, he won't change his behavior, he keeps doing stuff like this, etc. then I guess it's his own fault. But 90 days? wow.. you're going to ban him from streaming in the summer because of THIS? where sc could possibly get even more viewers consistently? seems a little much. I'd say 10 days but WOW. alll summer? holy crap... AND what about the fans? over doing it in my opinion, he's a staple for the community and for your website, maybe that shouldn't be overlooked

Even if you guys banned him from posting and just left his stream link up, its not like he'd quit streaming out of spite; he wants the ad revenue dollars from his streams and the only way to get lots of viewers is to get it linked here. Though if you really wanted to stick it to him you'd take his stream off the links, but that'd be meanspirited and vengeful.
