Hello, all!
It's become quite apparent that many of you are not reading the first post carefully.
Failure to do so in the future will be met with swift punishment. And as always, remember to be civil.
Thanks,

No. This is honestly ridiculous. How is that ok in anyway? How is what? There's literally zero proof Cruncher was watching Idra's stream while playing. The only proof is that he had the stream open, which he's admitted to.
But surely that makes it pretty darn obvious that he was cheating??

Banning him from the forums will have no impact on his behavior. Removing his stream links for a week might. If he acts up again, remove it for a lot longer. He's not going to learn how to function in normal social society if he keeps thinking he's special and that it is ok to act like a child. If we were talking about some random user, he would have already been banned for life.
I understand his stream brings extra visitors to TL, but you need to defend yourselves. Just my opinion.

It's so hypocritical and basically ganging up at this point. You guys have decided in your little clique to stand up to this; but the majority of TL mods have dissed and insulted people in the name of drama in the past.
Did you even click on the link on the first page of this thread? It shows Idra getting banned for years for doing the same exact things and never learning once. It's simple amazing he hasn't been perma banned 10x over by now.

lol Idra is a kamikaz, he bomb himself for his fan boys. But i have a question, why you don't perma ban him, for me 90 days is quite the same.

Meh i saw it coming...revenge for EG Master's Cup...but then again...such is life...![](/mirror/smilies/nooo.gif)

Will his stream still be a featured one, or just a drop down option one?

So sad to to see this escalated to such extremes. and IdrA was contributing to the entire sc2 community with regularly streaming Plus talking to his 10k plus viewers. sad, truly sad.

^agree. People say un godly stupid shit all the time. Seems like due to Idra's reputation and being a well know figure blew this up more than was ever needed. Ban not required at all imo. Sad day.

Idra is a very good player and an active community member so it's sad to see him gone for 3 months. However, I once asked why do people say "gg" and "gl hf". I was told by many, many members that it's the community that makes SC2 so special. The unity, the politiness and the enthusiasm.
I wish Idra didn't have this rage inside him against all he sees as his "inferiors". I would like him a lot more as a player. Bad Mannerism is Idras trademark true, but the pro status doesn't shield him from having to act decently once in a while.

Tbh, I am a big fan of idra but this is understandable, I support TL on keeping these forums probably the best in the world. However, although I am a big fan, I do not and have not helped with the spam he encouraged his fans to do! ^^

People are way to sensitive these days... Banning people on a public is the most ineffective way of solving issues which in the end will always exist in a sport... Let free speech reign supreme and maybe people will stop getting offended by words... they are just words, grow up.

When someone tells the masses to write a letter to their congressman because they're upset with something they should be "banned"? It would be more like telling everyone to call up and harass a police officer for arresting someone who broke the law. He broke the rules of teamliquid, and recieved a ban for it, that's how it works. Well, what if there is something wrong with the law itself? What would you do? TL is my favourite site as to its content and discussions, but the site I hate the very most because of its too strict rules and too ban happy moderators. This is a forum where everyone can speak their mind, and occasionally people will post showing affect display - something which is human. Let's say you are forced to play a game vs someone you already do not respect, and he makes you destroy every single one of his buildings. Next time you see he snipes you, and gives you good reason to believe he also cheated during the game. Now this would make anyone angry, and if it is SC2 related you might vent on the go to forum for sc2. Let people express some personality! And don't force everyone to act like the clones moderators seem to want to mold users into. Idra thought cruncher was an asshole and it was in his nature to express himself in a way insulting towards him. Should he instead have said "I do not much care for people I believe might have been cheating"? People are different and should be allowed to express their personalities and their emotions.
You need to understand that the strict rules is to try and keep a somewhat respectable reputation for the TL forums, with the release of SC2 TL has encountered a way higher volume of pointless and negative discussion (see the LR threads for a ton of unfounded balance whine, the SC2 strategy forum etc). There's a difference between showing personality and being plain mean.

Honestly, I saw this one coming as soon as I read Idra's twitter message.

No, and this has been discussed numerous times (please use the search function). He had the stream open for a different reason, to simply play against him.

I find it hard to believe someone would take the time to stream snipe someone then simultaneously have good enough manners to NOT look at the stream while playing.
Maybe that's just me.

Liquid the team and Teamliquid the site are actually rather disconnected, just an fyi. I mean, obviously people know each other and so on, but that is true for much of the esports teams. I mean shit, Incontrol used to be a banling (and a huge troll back in the day :D)
