It's about time
Gamestop and Lan Knights present the University of Florida Starcraft 2 midnight launch lan. This event will feature first and foremost, Starcraft 2, which can be bought anytime of the day until midnight. There will be prizes given out after midnight, including, sc2 shirts, posters, and a 5 ft jim Raynor Cardboard standee (which will, unfortunately, have to be picked up august 8th at the earliest) and more. You will be able to set your comps up as early as 12 pm Monday and we intend on ending at 6 a.m. Tuesday. Parking will cost 5 dollars, and you can not park in the garage. If you have reserved the game some where else, I am sorry, best you can do is return it and buy a copy from us, there will be no rentals or returns, and we do not receive inventory from other gamestops, so all reserves from other gamestop stores will have to be canceled or you can simply have 2 copies of sc2. The building will be teh live oak center, a different location than the last Ucf lan, and again you will have to bring your own comps, power chords, monitors, keyboards and mice. We will provide seating, power strips and network cables. This is going to be awesome, but there are only 85 spots for people wanting to bring there comps (plenty who just whish to hang out), and unless you rsvp and we get a higher number than 84, only 84 copies of sc2 so rsvp now.

i wish i was cool like cody and had computer hookups. my computer is set up pretty homosexually, with lots of tape and zipties and shit, so theres no way im bringing it up. but i shall attend and possibly commandeer someone elses computer so i can win the tournament

Easiest parking is Garage B, but you can drive up and drop your stuff off right in front of the room.

Do you think it would be a good idea to see if an admin could add: FL LAN in front of the the current topic title, so when it shows up on the left hand side people will know its a FL LAN, because the current title kinda hides that fact.

You need to move it to the ucf one in the breezeway (where I work) so that we can give you one
No this is not underhanded business but the actuality of not sharing inventory company wide (kinda impossible) so they have theyre copies we have ours, we will be handing out ours at the site (in the lan) so its up to you

I signed up as a definite YES, but I have to work the following Tuesday morning. I was thinking I'd sleep after work Monday then wake up at 10PM show up for the LAN at 11PM.
Can you hold reserve a game for me that late, or do I absolutely have get there earlier? If I must get there earlier then I'll have to leave earlier (to stay sane at work on Tuesday).

Its funny because after running this event i have a shift at the gamestop that were getting the sc2 from at like 4 lol

no you can play if you have a copy that you plan to bring, we just have copies available for people to buy and preorder.
