Had super raging weaver, flamed me the abbadon for not having maphacks and magically teleporting to whereever he overextends to save his ass. He feeds courrier once and abandons at the end of the game when he thinks we lost, we win with me controlling his hero cause he forgot to sell items. It would of been a great back and forth game if I didn't have to deal with a toxic asshole.

Playing Legion Commander off-lane in unranked for warmup. Team began flaming each other already at picking phase. My two supports apparently didn't consider courier and wards a worthwhile investment and went for Boots (mr Sand King player) and Iron Talon (mr Doom player) instead. Enemy team contests our safelane rune. They secure the rune and first blood double kill. Team still flaming each other by typing at this point as well as yelling over mic. Eventually my Storm player grows tired of yelling, being yelled at and dieing a lot and decides to destroy his items and go run down mid. After feeding three times he has the decency to abandon - God bless his soul.

Slardar in my team refuses to buy blink, instead getting echo sabre and bkb. Even tho I told him to rush blink at the beginning of the match. Also he bought a gem like 15 min into the game 9even before finishing echo) and promptly fed it to the enemy.

This is a team game, but half the people playing this game just afk play diablo with no minimap, no ability to understand pings, who will acknowledge things you say to them but never learn from their mistakes and refuse to take good advice.

It seems like every single game is the same struggle. Go mid, at the very least do what mids should do and farm up and keep enemy mid in check. Some people still dont realise that they can also rotate to other lanes and gank to help win other lanes. Its easier to blame the mid who was winning his lane (gg end fast mid no gank) because he didnt gank at 5 mins while you were dying every time you show your face in lane. Meanwhile your mid is trying to safely farm his own lane, but now has to accommodate for the fed supports who are rotating from the lanes they rekt by warding for himself, trying to farm, trying to help where he can but just ends up spreading himself too thin and eventually falling off.

People dont realise that vision is good. So good in fact that the gold you make just from seeing the enemy's movements and avoiding / creating kill opportunities is far more beneficial than rushing items because of the gold your TEAM gains. 2 supports + 3 cores. Supports make space, carries get fat. Easy fucking peezy. Also if i see one more dipshit trying to carry in the jungle instead of farming HEROES AND CREEPS in the lane while at the same time almost guaranteeing your other lanes are weak and you have no gank potential because your only supp is in the safe lane and nobody can roam.

I dont know. These things seem like common sense but every game is the same shit.

Am I a bad person for wanting a LoL style role preference feature? Half of my anxiety for going into ranked is not knowing if I'm going to play mid or position 6. Plus, everyone is in a Cold War style, mutually assured destruction scenario where they have to lock in 4 cores before the other "scrubs" ruin their game.

LoL-style role search would be just give you 15-20 minute queues unless you wanted to play a support

qq: my pub teammates seem to hate heroes who have stuns are good teamfight abilities, instead they just pick 4 single-target heroes with no good disables or powerful laning capailities and just feed enemy cores 5+ kills in 10 minutes

pick jakiro, go solo supp, arcane -> mekansm ->win games.

skill set should be q-e-w-e-e-r-e-w-w- talent. Remember to type "take tower" when you get liquid fire lvl 4. (and proceed to take it). Jakiro can clear big waves really easily with his ult, don't be scared to use it to push/farm. jakiro can farm creeps anywhere very well, so make sure you get your items too.
