We have a riki, a SK (me), a viper, a MK and a CM. Looks good, i bag that one. Moments later, MK and viper have the amazing idea to both go shadow blade first item. The enemy counters our whole team with one sentry. And then they buy even more sentries. Nobody can do anything, gg. Thanks guys. | ||

Is it playing your hero, and doing that only - minding your own shit, basically. Or is it playing your hero AND managing your team / coordinating moves / helping with items / giving directions / boosting morale, etc. For me, it is the latter. It's not that everyone sucks, it's just that I strongly believe that 5 strangers will be much more efficient is there's some kind of a lead (rather than everyone minding his own shit). Not judging btw, I believe both visions are valid - and needed (can't have 5 people not giving a shit about the team/social aspect, but can't have 5 people trying to lead either). edit : might have been slightly off-topic here, guess it's basically me ranting -_- | ||

one game at just below 6k avg everyone is cool calm and collected doing what they're supposed to do picking something that makes sense etc etc next game you have one guy relentlessly feeding and the rest of your team just aimlessly running around sigh dota would be so infinitely more enjoyable if it were a single player game but guess the technology to split your mind into five instances just isnt there yet | ||

Back in WC3 days I used to play with a lot of Swedes, Germans basically Western Europeans who could speak fluent English. Seems like dota2 is not popular in English speaking countries. =/ | ||
