Aghanim's Scepter - I don't really recommend Aghanim's ever in a serious game. 4.2k for 1 more familiar and some hp and mana isn't really worth it unless your going for the op blink, refreshers,Aghanim's build where you just chain stun with your ult by dropping 3 familiars and then resummoning for another 3 stuns. More seriously though there are better items for him in my opinion. Rod of Atos - Should say that you can use grave chill-Atos and by the time Atos slow runs out, grave chill will be back up again for 16 second of massive slows. I would also get this item quite early if I was going to ever get it since it gets dispelled by BKB and if their supports have good positioning they aren't going to get picked off that much. Mekansm - Always get this item first, you are a pretty good Mekansm carrier since you sit so far back and throw out Soul Assumptions. Only time you shouldn't get it is if you have someone who is better than you at carrying it like a wisp or something. Medallion of Courage - I'm not sure about this item myself, if your going mid against a squishy hero then it might be worth it due to visage's very strong burst with his familiar's recently increased damage. WARDS - you are mostly going to be playing as a support, you should be buying sentries/observer wards for your team. BKB - Should emphasize that you are extremely powerful before BKBs come out but after their carries start getting them up your damage and utility in team fights drops significantly due to grave chill and soul assumption not going through it. It's not a very good item on him unless you are going for some kind of Dagon/orchid build and are acting as a 2nd/3rd carry for your team. Grave Chill - You don't emphasize how retarded this skill is for trading. It's pretty much level 2 viper strike for 3 seconds with pretty much no mana cost. It's strong and with Gravekeeper's Cloak you can trade with people very well. Soul Assumption - Great team fight skill and the skill you'll max first 99% of the time. Contrary to what it might seem like, it's at it's strongest in smaller engages where you can just barely get 6 charges and launch it. Also is a great skill for punishing bad positioning with a burst ally like Lina or a Dagon due to not many people expecting the very high range and damage. Also has a fairly high mana cost that will leave your mana empty after a large fight usually. Gravekeeper's cloak - Extremely strong skill with the latest big fix that made the layer recharge independent. It makes you immune to burst at higher levels and is a strong skill for trading in combination with grave chill. I don't recommend taking it against people with DoT skills due to the layers getting removed from damage greater that 2, however it is only removed by hero attacks and not creep attacks. I haven't tested this but level 2 might be worthwhile against burst champions like Lina or Lion or just in general if you are planning to play defensive. Summon Familiars - VERY strong ultimate, very high damage with a double stun with fair damage at level 6/11/16 and you can solo kill most heroes right as you hit these levels if you can hit them quickly enough, usually most effective mid. You can do a lot with them, and they only get stronger as your multitasking ability increases. You can stack camps and pull/farm them or leave them for your carry or you could have them follow an ally like Blood Seeker around and stun when they try to teleport away. Just don't feed them since they have a long 3 minute CD and give 150 gold each. We'll that all I can think up for now, and I'm by no means a good player so you might want to have someone check over this before you add it to the guide.

Veil should be situational for Venomancer. Nyx needs clarities and regen more than he needs gauntlets as starting items, you will get harassed out of lane so quickly with tangos and without clarities you can't cast shit. Zeus starting items should be tangox1, salvex1, clarityx5 and branch. You need bracers as Zeus and Drum should be in his core. NEVER BUY AGH'S ON ZEUS. After Veil you want utility items like Force Staff. Quelling isn't situational on Slardar, put it in early items. Slardar doesn't actually need blink in his core (I'm sure Yango will hate that I say this), treads, 2-3 bracers, and BKB is his core. Many pro players advocate maxing Disruption first on Shadow Demon (including Aui and a couple others) with 1 point in Poison for vision purposes only. Maybe just a note about it in the above paragraph since it isn't as standard as poison/soul catcher Shadow Demon. Maxing shackle over Hex is 90% of the time wrong because you won't be able to use that full Shackle duration most of the time anyways considering how paper Rhasta is before he gets some bracers up. Hex is slightly more mana intensive but is also more reliable as you can "cast it and forget it". Should move Aghanims into situational and make Bloodstone core. Mek should be in Nature's Prophets situational items, it's a VERY common pickup on him. Picking up one level of Liquid Fire at level 4 is pretty common on Jakiro, the attack slow is AMAZING. Lion needs a bracer in his core and drums in situational. Chaos Knight needs Soul Ring somewhere (either in Core or situational) Great job so far TDL!

Solo lane Nyx should be 3 Branch->Bottle Crow. You should have Bottle before you run out of mana, and then you just Bottle Crow to support repeated Mana Burn. Zeus starting items should be tangox1, salvex1, clarityx5 and branch. You need bracers as Zeus and Drum should be in his core. NEVER BUY AGH'S ON ZEUS. After Veil you want utility items like Force Staff. Force Staff should be your first major item, and Urn is better than Bracers because you don't need the right-click stats and your Int is high enough that you want the Sobi regen. Zeus does phenomenal baseline damage, the thing he needs most are mobility (both because he has no hard disables, and because he has no escape/survivability skills) and mana to support long usage of spells, and Force Staff gives both. Quelling isn't situational on Slardar, put it in early items. Slardar doesn't actually need blink in his core (I'm sure Yango will hate that I say this), treads, 2-3 bracers, and BKB is his core. No Blink is fine in pubs, but you absolutely don't need Quelling or that many Bracers. You're not going to go full-time jungle mode (because you're a midgame gank/teamfight hero), and Quelling is primarily bought for heroes that need to speed up their farm/jungling ability. Again, Urn is strong here because you're a gank-oriented hero early, and a single Bracer for Drums. You need one of either Urn, Bottle, or RoH to give you acceptable regen on Slardar (RoH is the weakest option and very situational). In general stacking Bracers is only for when you're really behind. There are too many strong early-game oriented items that actually do things (such as Urn) for it to actually be worthwhile to build a second Bracer. Actually, Torte, if your guide is for Mid Rhasta, your build is wrong. Mid Rhasta wants Ether Shock maxed immediately for maximum pushing power and burst damage. First point of Shackles should be taken at 2, Ether Shock at 3, and Shackles vs. Hex at 4 is situational (Hex is very mana intensive, Shackles at 4 is better in a losing situation where your Mana Boots will be slow). Starting items should be either Tango+3xBranch->Bottle rush or Tango+Salve+3xBranch+Mantle. They play differently, depends on your playstyle and the matchup. Aghanim's is just not good on Rhasta after the nerf. Any build that gets it comes from the time when Aghanim's still gave you 12 wards instead of giving extra damage. Bloodstone isn't good on Rhasta because you're not a sustained damage/carry Intel hero--you're about one-off damage and disables. The two major routes of development on mid Rhasta are either a Blink-based gank-oriented build (most common in pubs and generally the most commonly seen build period for a long time), or Mek-based build for pushing/teamfighting (not as common in pubs, but very powerful for stack games, first saw 430 play this sometime last year). BKB is the most common follow-up in either build, and situational items after that are whichever of the 2 items you didn't get, Drums, Ghost Scepter, Shiva's, etc.

Needs a Bracer or Urn in his early game core (preferably urn). Veil of Discord needs to be in either extension or situational. Other than that, looks good.

2-3x Bracer BKB is the standard way to play Slarday nowadays, there was a big topic on NADotA where a lot of pros/competitive amateurs mused on this I can link you yango. Urn's not bad though, you're right. I'm not sold on Urn on Zeus but that's because I'm a HUGE fan of Drums on him (he's too fucking slow for my tastes) Yeah I addressed his rhasta build as well, Ether shock max with 1 level of shackle and hex max after that is the standard build of mine and most Rhastas I see. Starting items are very dependent on lanes and I don't think we should get too hung up on them. Bloodstone/Blink is my preferred core on Rhasta but I would stress picking up a Point Booster even if you decide not to finish the bloodstone (similar to older DP builds when Eul's was more common on her, back when it built into Sheep) edit: I love discussing builds with you Yango, you're so smart! <333

Skill Build: This may be a little nitpicky, but I generally level Mana Burn first. If you're going straight into the middle lane, you shouldn't be expecting much that you'll need your stun to bail you out of, so if you just Mana Burn the minute you get into the lane, you'll get a good harass off and also burn your lane partner's mana. Otherwise I like your skill build. Starting Items: Tengos, three branches. The two gauntlets you have there don't really provide Nyx much in the early game, the idea is that he shouldn't be taking much damage and instead should be able to harass with Mana Burn and his stun. That means he needs mana and getting Tengos and branches will allow him to very quickly get his bottle. The stun should help him with rune control, but I almost always prefer a fast bottle on Nyx. You're going to scare off the lane with your Mana Burn if you get it at level 1 anyway, and then with bottle you can happily go gank. Early Game: Bottle, Boots, Magic Wand Fine as is. Author's note should probably make note of the importance of fast bottle. Core Items: Arcane Boots, Dagon, TP Scroll, Clarity Now that you don't have the two bracers, you're not going to be building Urn of Shadows. In general Nyx is almost always going to have a mana problem much moreso than a health problem, and even the extra damage you're getting from Urn per dollar is better spent on upgrading your dagon. I know it's a little strange TP Scrolls and Clarities here, but it's important to note that Nyx is the one hero that is almost guarunteed safe when TPing into 5 heroes, because of spiked carapace. This means he can TP directly into a teamfight and initiate when towers are being pushed because he'll be able to perform a double stun: Spiked and then Impale. Clarities are there since you can clarity right before ulting, allowing you to regen the mana you lost after Ulting. It's important to Author's Note that Nyx's Level 1 ult is VERY short. It should be used 99% of the time when you are already very close to your target, rather than while traveling towards your target. At Level 2 it can be used to roam and find people to gank, but this isn't feasible at Fevel 1. Extension Items: TP Boots, Ethereal, Gem Again, Nyx's ability to TP right in should not be overlooked. If you chain your stuns, you're going to be stunning the enemy team for FIVE SECONDS, plus any damage they try to put out when you TP. The Gem is to counter any sentries they decide to put down, and to also help counter wards so that your map presence reigns supreme. You can put Butterfly/Heart into Situational, but I don't think they're even as useful as Drums. You're a shotgun, not a DPSer.

Maxing Call before Axes hasn't been the norm since the Hawk got nerfed and Smoke was added to the game. Axes maxed by 7, Axes+Call for off-lane (you need the pig to stack ancients). If mid, you get Aura at 2, and sometimes a second rank at 4 before maxing Call second. Necrobook should be listed at least as situational, and possibly as core for pub games.

Brewmaster's builds are a bit lane dependent. If you're mid and go bottle, the early stats is usually unnecessary and you can put your points into other skills (safelane with competent supports the same is generall true since you won't depend on your spells as much). Similarly, the stout shield is usually unnecessary since Brew has very high starting armour, plenty of hp, and can always just put a point in brawler to help with physical harass. AC and Vlads are also good additional situational/extension items on him. NP should probably have Necro 3 in his situational items as it's one of the best items in the game for a split pushing prophet (the same is true for Lycan as well). I would consider removing Aghas from the NP situational items because the situations for it are very rare, and if someone is in need of a basic guide to NP, they probably are going to screw over their team with it.
