I'm not sure how I didn't mention this before, but Drow's skill order should be Arrows>Silence>Aura.
The aura gets the bulk of it's benefit on the 1st rank--subsequent ranks give far less incremental benefit than the longer silence duration. It is a somewhat better farming skill than Silence, but if you were going with a farming build, you wouldn't have maxed Arrows first anyway (farming build would probably be something like 1-1-1+2xStats before 6, then taking more aura after 6 before leveling arrows/silence). It's not really logically consistent to max Arrows first but then max Aura afterward.
S&Y should be situational. I honestly buy it more often than Manta now, since after the various changes to Marksmanship, Drow Illusions don't get ANY of the Agility bonus from Marksmanship, making them incredibly weak.

God, thank you. I really hated looking at this guide and feeling so utterly unsure about it.

He was in my last image as well, I just like him a lot.

Phoenix and Terrorblade guides have been updated. Yango will hate me.

Isn't the starting items for Terrorblade a bit optimistic? He has no regen abilities and really low base HP, going with just a stout and a tango seems like an open invite to boss him out of the safelane immediately. Also, the clarity potion seems a bit unnessecary since his skills have such a low mana cost.
I guess it's situational based on what you might be up against in the lane, but I'm sort of interested in knowing why/when one would go clarity rather than salve on this hero.

Changed and fixed. I chose clarity because his mana pool seemed low initially.
Unfortunately it means losing a branch

strong subscription numbers after 3 days. Very satisfied. Will compile numbers of total subscribers on Feb. 2.
Feedback always appreciated.

edit: I fucked up my excel sheet and by mistake moved all the numbers to the left. 5.5 mil was for Dec. 25 not Jan 17
After ~15 days (Jan. 17 to Feb. 4), we have risen from 7,154,041 to 8,708,486 combined subscribers
A difference of 1,554,445 Average growth of subscribers is 77,066.25 from 65,036.74 in January

Thank you very much!
The phoenix guides picked up an initial 30k within days, with the Middle version being at 77k currently and the Lane version has 36k.
Terrorblade was a bit low at the beginning, but has now earned a respectable 31k subscribers.
We're seeing huge jumps in heroes like Drow Ranger (2,000 to 15,547) and Disruptor (16,235 to 30,555). The anniversary is coming in about 22 days. I will release the full stats from October (that's when I started tracking the data) to now at that time.

riki guide lacks basher and abyssal
i would put a casual yasha as core and build it either into a sny or a manta. Manta can be nice if you are splitpushing and it also helps in 1v1 fights and gives you another way of getting rid of dusts.
other than that, a gem on riki can be a good pickup to deward sentrys.
|
I never liked Manta on Riki as it never felt like splitpushin was prominent with him in a typical game.
I'll add Gem, basher and abyssal

Manta isn't just a splitpushing item. It's particularly nice on riki because it dispels dust.

It can be added to Situational Items, but I don't feel it justifies Yasha as core though

Yasha is just a solid item on him gives a lot of stats is cheap i almost always get it after diffusal. But you don't have to put it as core, some people would argue that basher is core on him, i get it as 4th or 5th item if at all. Sometimes diffusal is just enough.
As for skill builds i would not get smoke so early, at lvl 5 if you want to be agressive immediatly after you have level 6 but normal i get it at level 7 or 8.
I would do something like 2/3/2/3/2/4/1/2/3/3/4/1/1/1 in normal game.
|
I don't think I'll put it as core because I feel after Diffusal, it really depends on how well or terrible you're doing. I agree on Basher extension, but yeah; some people are satisfied with diffusal. It's a tough call, I used to always get Yasha on him as well and I recently added Yasha to core for Drow Ranger. That's why I'm so conflicted.
Speaking of Diffusal, what do you think of putting it on situational for Terrorblade?
