Recently I played a bunch of wisp games and had to play all pick to do it.
I do not miss it. Captins mode is sooooo much better OMG. You never get 3-4 carries in captins mode, sometimes people are more knowledgeable and I feel like there are less disconnections.

Definetly glad I switched to it. Valve should make all pick turn based.

Playing Mirana and Lion (player disconnected) actively for full 20 minutes and winning the game from a disadvantage. Best feeling.

Although having a creep that can hex/impale is actually pretty strong.

At the start of a game of solo ranked game, I type "I'm having a bad internet day, please do wait if I disconnect." Powers go off 20 minutes into the game, wait for about 7 minutes, boot up, launch dota, another 2 minutes, connect to game still paused. I wish I could commend all 9 people

Just played a game with a TA who noticed that I was 500 gold away from blink (I was earthshaker) and let me get a lasthit on tower when we were pushing. What a cool guy that was.

Man I love Australian servers. I solo queue on Aus and USWest, and i noticed that aussie just has far better communication, forgiving, and less trolls. Oh, and they all speak english and many use voice comm. Just played a game as pudge a while ago, wasn't very good

Had a bounty hunter that went for a legit build (no bfury) and ganked all game long. We kept them quite scared in their jungle. On one particular gank BH and I pretty much had the kill but i accidentally hooked at the wrong time and got him killed. I apologized and what does he say? "Don't worry pudge we're creating space for drow so all good". Drow was farming jungle like mad and easily carried us to victory in the end game, but it was all BH who was buying wards, ganking jungle and allowing our carry to get space to farm. But yeah seriously if people in US west don't mind the lag (about 150-190ms), Aus is the best server to play on.

In my 945 hours of Dota 2 I actually never had a rampage and now, two rampages in two games. Damn that felt good.

And since a few days I sometimes play with someone who has a much higher MMR than me and it's awesome having someone who can make calls and can teach you stuff all the time.

They just needed to 5 man us and finish mid (I'm radiant side, playing Mirana), but instead they go die one at a time without buybacks and we can finish throne instead. And tiny's build was so bad at first. I told him to buy aghanim's but since he never talked I just hope he was planning to buy it all along...

And just look at our Alche...wow. He bought a lot of wards though. Invoker and NP played well most of the time, and I landed some good arrows when I wasn't careless and got picked off by storm or BH. Can't believe we actually won this though...

Had this one game yesterday, I was really annoyed by AP (getting from 3900 to 3600) so I've decided to go for CM. Missclicked, got into CD.

We had really bad lanes (solo safelane for tidehunter) as I went for agressive trilane trying to support Sven with my veno. EVERY single time, Sven knew, when to initiate. He somehow always had mana when needed and we went 10-0 in laning stage. In midgame, no one hunted too much, we used our superior farm to push t2s and get roshan. After that it was easy.
