Can we seriously have a mod note? Too many people are just reading the title and ignoring the OP's body of text (which is calling for stories of good moments derived from teammates, instead of where random person X goes on a rampage and decides to brag about it).
A person that attempts to diagnose themselves has a fool for a doctor and a bigger fool for a patient.

We were down by 10 kills and we only had two of their turrets down and they were pushing our T3 when I blinked in and landed a 5 man echo slam into a 5man RP killing the entire team and we were able to push them back and win the game.

an entire game with people who don't speak English. sounds bad, right?

NO.

Apparently my Spanish, which I've been studying as a second language for 2 years, is good enough to communicate with the 4 native Spanish speakers on my team, enough for me to even make silly jokes. PUNS NO LESS. that was so satisfying on so many levels.

oh yeah, we won the game too...

I'm the Sven.

Game was close, then we started to maintain a lead. Broodmother decides to leave for no apparent reason. We can't take the fights 4v5 and then we decide to wait for BM after we get wrecked in a team fight. We waited for a couple of minutes but Warlock decided that screw it, we'll fight 4v5. Game turning point was when warlock got his refresher orb. We could counter initiate easily and BKB made it easy to rip through the other team. I think I made the right decision to get crit after bkb because PA won't be able to cut through their whole team, Tide, Doom, Titan, and Tiny aren't exactly the thinnest heroes around. Game was in our bags when they roshed, and took some time to think who will get it (doom eventually got it). We were on the steps going to the mid then Warlock double ulti'd on doom to pop the Aegis and they were forced to fight out of position and ripped them apart. We got mid rax shortly after. Then they tried to push bot but we got to them first and caught them out of position and we took rax again.

Damn. That was a great game.

Got into a captains mode game, and i could tell right away that my teammates didn't speak english. I tried to communicate with the scraps of spanish i remember from 10th grade, but then someone on the other team DC'ed. A second later the captain on their team DC'ed, so i had a fun time trying to speak spanish while we picked awful heroes. The most fun I've had with dota today and we didn't even play a game.

Edit: and then another Captain's Mode game with people who spoke English (except our captain. I don't think he ever spoke). He drafted really legitimate heroes, like Luna, Veno, DK, and Bristle. He didn't talk during the draft, but he mostly followed our suggestions. We got to our last pick and we were wondering who our last support should be. We were talking about heroes with good setup stuns, but barely 5 seconds pass before he picks visage. I'm playing at probably average or slightly below average MMR (Low 3000 or high 2000 normally but this was unranked), so the whole team types "WTF?!" and stuff. I ask if anyone can play him, and nobody says they can. Alright, I have Starcraft multitasking micro skillz, so I decide to give him a spin.
The team is super cooperative and agrees to safelane trilane veno-visage-luna with DK mid and Bristle offlane, and we almost instantly firstblood the offlane timbersaw. Jugg comes bot too and we kill him after veno almost dies. The game was really fun from there, with lots of close teamfights to keep it exciting, yet we don't lose a tower so we also have the joy of knowing we're most likely not going to lose. I end up going 9-3-20 with a dominating streak when the game ended, and the only tower we lost was the one I denied, Luna killed everything, DK was using his ulti to tower dive gank, which was awesome, and I got to be a bit of a big damn hero by constantly dodging Invoker wombo combo initiations and turning it around on him. Damn good game.

Edit 2: And then this game happened.

I love winning rat dota games. Kunkka had two or three divines at one point. And then our feeding Prophet got him

Someone randoms brew.
next guy randoms lycan. Dk for mid. Me and one guy still have to pick. Im sitting there knowing we need two supports. I really didn't want to trust my team. I was on the verge of picking furion. Other guy picks pa. Thought I would look like an ass if I didn't support. So on a whim I pick cm. Thought I was high as fuck for trusting this team. Having two carries safe and a harder carry offlane. I had to support this pa. Nothing wrong there. We were up against a solo spectre. Better than I thought it would be. Made that pa go 8-0 in lane even with a doom bringer attempting to gank all the time. Mid was very active came in all the time. Pa never died but I was glad to have put my trust in this guy.
I wasn't even soposed to be here today.

Just won a 3v5. Two players leave from the start, probably disconnected. We keep our calm, get a courier and wards, proceed to win our lanes and finish it in 27 minutes.
If you seek well, you shall find.

A game where I was playing pretty poorly as the mid hero and fed pretty badly, but my teammates didn't flame me and just kept playing on until they won the game for me :D

I played two games in a row that I didn't perform well but the teams communicated and we ended up winning together. Not too amazing but certainly a good moment.

I just had my closest game ever; I highly doubt I will ever have a gam with more extreme turnarounds in dota.
I queued with 2, of if which I only knew one, and played pl, which I think I have done only once or twice before. Anyway I farm for most of the time until 30 minutes (I usually don't play carry, I guess I should have had more lasthits), then join teamfights and all goes well first, but then we collapse and are two lanes of rax done. But they overextend, and we can counterpush and also get 2 lanes of rax and everything looks great for us all of a sudden. More up and down, we camp their 3rd lane, but it ends with most of us dying; I buyback and get a t4, but they manage to kill me again and go for our throne, while most of are dead, but my teammates revive and manage to fight them off while our ancient goes down to <10% hp (ok the other team mainly tries to kill of the ancient instead of fighting, but anyway) and my revive timer slowly tickles down the last of the 110 seconds it had. Finally I revive, and all that's left to do for me is to boots-of-travel to their base and end the game, which I almost screw up again, even though they probably would have won without me at this point. Winning this felt so good, really. Wastching my teammates defend the ancient was so tense, once I realized they might actually do it.

I should mention that I was the otherteam had much harder carries than my teammates were, which makes it even more remarkable what they pulled of.
For anyone interested, here's the game:

I normally play with mates but sometimes i play soloq and usually it ends in a disaster... but this time omfg... we were so far behind that i almost gave up.

Was playing sf mid and did rly fine until they 5 man ganked me mid and proceed to take all objectives. We were more then 15 kills and 1 lane + all outer towers behind while we only managed to get 2 towers ourselfs.
But suddenly we played as a real team and defended our base for more then 25 mins with only minimal losses while me and our mirana got almost all kills and from one moment to another we had a huge momentum and started to take 2 rosh´s untill we finally broke their base. In the end we all said we love each other =)

This was by far the best SoloQ experience i ever had

Atta boy!

Ok, so I just finished a game as Soul Keeper. I don't think I've ever felt more directly responsible for a loss than I have for this game. I farmed horribly, fed horribly and made bad calls. I even fucking got HotD and Diffusal. Truly terrible stuff.

But my teammates were totally cool about it. They were a 4-stack of good friends that were just like "Nah man, it's fine. We all have off days." They gave me some tips, tried their hardest to win the game without me (we didn't manage it in the end) and just overall really boosted my morale and made me feel a lot less negative about myself.

Never underestimate the power of niceness and support.

had a sick game,
we already had a huge advantage our clinkz carry was 19-1 or something but we never broke their base (despite them ahving way better lategame, games goes forever)
at 50 minutes we have a terrible engagement and our clinkz and our dragon knight dies they both do not have buybacks
only heros left are lina (me), engima, earth shaker
we let them take our t2 mid, they try to break our base with lion, spectre, medusa, abaddon.
The t3 tower falls, suddenly enigma gets a 5 man blackhole, earthshaker gets a 5-man echoslam and to round it up engima had refresher and got the surviving medusa and spectre again.
I thought that after clinkz died they will take our base for sure but this enigma just single-handedly safed us from a very frustrating loss. He is the hero doto needs but doesn't deserve.

Playing rubick, gank goes bad and I'm running like hell at 5% and about to die. Random pub terrorblade TPs from his freefarm lane just to sunder me, giving me all his HP about 0.2 sec before I eat a nuke. Both of us survive.

I don't know if it was really worth it in terms of lost farm time versus the value of my little rubick, but man it's nice when your carry gives back. With his SOUL.

My luck streak with pub TBs continues.

Just had a really awesome game. We had a kinda weird trilane, Wraith King, Earthshaker and Treant and were up against a Timbersaw. So the is potential for desaster. But this Earthshaker has like three times a perfect fissure so that I basically only have to stun Timber once he starts his Timberchain animation and we got an easy kill. After that it just keeps getting better, people are diving me, WR tps, shackels them, ES rushes in stuns them under the tower, I turn with 50 HP, throw out a stun and we get a double kill. To top it off Treant just had perfect ultis and kept all towers up at full HP. Not even when playing with a 5-stack the coordination works that well.

The whole game just everything worked perfectly together and the best part was, Wraith King and Treant were randomed after our captain forgot to look at the timer.

I was playing Luna. I die twice like a retard(play too greedy) 1v1 vs mag. AA buys me tp instantly both times instead of bitching. Some people in dota are so nice
