First off, when units get out on the field, my FPS tends to drop to 10 or even below, the game is unplayable at that point. Could that be that my graphics card (GeForce 8800 GTS) cannot handle this or could I tweak it with a setting, as without streaming (unless it is 150+ Zerglings on the screen) my FPS is around 40-80, depending on how many units are there. I have: - Q6600 Core 2 Quad 2.4GHz - 6gb RAM so, I doubt that those two can cause such severe problems, the only problem left is my graphics card Further on, audio goes off sync by a lot is there any way to fix this manually? This is my speedtest to my provider, I am currently streaming at 300 bit rate and 768x432 resolution, 128 audio bit rate and 30 fps. Any help is appreciated. http://www.twitch.tv/ysnake/b/323772520 I am more than happy with the quality, beforehand, I could only stream in episodes, literally. This is pure awesomeness, but if I could get those small problems go away, I'd be on a white horse blowing a penguin.

For stream quality settings, I would probably drop the audio bitrate to 96 if you're streaming with such low upload. Also is your cpu overclocked or not? I think streaming with FFsplit is too demanding for 2.4ghz quad core, as i'm sitting at around 3.0ghz and streaming at the same resolution on low settings in sc2, and it brings my fps way down.

Your CPU is going to have an extremely hard time with streaming as it lacks the power to encode video while playing without a pretty significant drop in performance. The GFX card has no effect on your ability to stream, nor does your memory. If you can overclock your CPU I would highly recommend it. I would also recommend dropping the FPS down to 25, and as flameling said, dropping your audio bit rate, as you're being severely limited by both your CPU and internet connection.

First of all, thank you all for suggestions as the game can be a bit laggy (when shitton of Zerglings are around), but it is manageable. The streaming quality is superb, although, there are some minor problems that are constantly present. - First off, and the most annoying part is randomly stopping to stream. http://www.twitch.tv/ysnake As you can see, some videos are 10mins long, some are 2+ hours. The console does not show any error whatsoever and continues with its usual frame-rate, etc etc, but there is nothing being streamed. - Second of all, FFSplit can sometimes CONSTANTLY crash (I have Windows 64bit, 6gb RAM, GeForce 8800 and plenty of free space on disk, just throwing the info out there, in case any of those cause it to crash). It crashes upon starting to stream. Here is a picture of it crashing. Sometimes, I'd have to run the program 10+ times to actually start streaming. http://postimage.org/image/z3fgp69rp/ - Failing to start the stream can also occur, and when paired with FFsplit constantly crashing, it gets annoying, sometimes it takes up to 15mins just to start streaming (to be randomly stopped). Here is a picture of that error http://postimage.org/image/4n91k4fe1/ - Audio randomly crashing while streaming, this also occurs from time to time and I do not use a Microphone. You can see my settings on the second screenshot. I have done the changing the comma to a dot and I have all the programs that are listed on the FFsplit website. - Lastly, this is not a complaint, I am rather pointing out some problems with this amazing program and I am looking for solutions to these problems. Thank you in advance.

It still occasionally stops to stream without a warning or error, but much, much less frequently, also, for those who want to try it out, remember to run it as administrator. It is just an awesome streaming program.
