Its all at once as well. The vod shows the stream is just fine and smooth. And then instantly cut out. Meanwhile my client has no idea and is still churning out bits.

What resolution are you streaming at? Because I know for some people (that had higher upload speed than yours) could not stream past a certain bitrate, regardless of the resolution (with ffsplit of course).
