I think he meant to say FFsplit overlay, in your FFsplit settings, you should choose that overlay, as FFsplit is not 100% compatible with other video sources. If you are lagging, what did you set your bitrate to? Remember, it should be around 70-75% of your upload speed. I think with that upload speed, you should have no problem going with 1500

I think with that upload speed, you should have no problem going with 1500 If you set your bitrate higher than what is needed, it will improve the quality only to up to a point (depending on the res you're streaming in). With 1280x1024, you only need between 1500-2000. Try that out and see what you get.

Also is there no way to adjust the added images size without manually changing each image in PS? Because im noob can you explain why ffsplit is better than xsplit other than the better audio quality we get?

They are working out kinks in the program before they add scene switches etc. FF split will take less resources from what i encountered.

Maybe in the later beta stages you will be able to use FFsplit with all the extra stuff that xsplit allows but until then, people who like the extras should stick with xsplit.

It also takes awhile to load onto twitch.tv current setting with 1upload speed and i5 2400 with ati hd 5850 and 8gb ram bit rate: 600 encode preset: fast video resolution: 720p Frame Rate: 29.97 Audio bit rate: 96 Audio Channels: Stereo If i notice some ingame lag, what settings do you suggest i tweak. It dies if your bitrate isn't stable. Have the debug console open when you're testing your stream, and it usually dies when u see the the bitrate go constant. Thoguh, the only times that it has happened to me are in cases where my internet is lagging or something. By ingame lag, do you mean input lag or fps lag? also, can you post a link to your stream?

check my vods, i've tried many times and it justs cuts off, however the quality is so sexy i've been testinig and i think my bitrate isn't stable... 600bitrate with 96 onaudio = 700 and at 30fps and 720p i don't think its handling it well,. ingame lag i mean input lag, game delay. I click on something and it takes longer to process, myingame fps is prettystable at 60fps but i do feel some ingame lag here n there but the main problem is my stream that dies. Using faster preset now as sc2 + ffsplit makes my cpu go up to 80%

Well, I've had this problem a couple of times, but usually it's really random. Like, some days it'll happen, but then other days it'll be completely fine. I don't really have a sound solution to this other than just messing with your bitrate and testing it over and over (worked for me eventually).

Thanks for trying anyway. Whats intial settings did you use and what did you end up using after testing? should i reduce from 30fps to 25fps and go below 720p?
