The 'useloopback' should fix most issues, but if for some reason not, we'd be very interested in working with you to find the cause. Have you also tried to use the 'interleave audio and video' option (pic) in your channel setup? Just FYI: We will release v. 1.1 in a few days which has the useloopback option enabled by default, as well as a lot of other audio quality improvements. Edit: Can you post which audio codec you are using too? It sounded like helicopter sound, by using the "loopback" the music (internal) wasn't choppy anymore, however the mic was stil making robot sounds. So i had to trick the mic to go thru a "mixer", basically looped it out from stereo sound plug into mic plug (this mic was usb so i had the back port clear), and then using virtual audio cable i put mic and internal sounds into line 1 which was treated as microphone. It solved the issue of sound not being choppy, my mic was now acting like the music before and wasn't "robotic". Also i did try using interleave audio and video, turned them on and off multiple times and didn't change anything. I tryed using every codec, eventually i stopped with 22k or 16k KHZ mp3. (It had same issue with any of the codecs). I haven't tryed the new 1.1, but i hope it fixed some of the issues, it takes 30 minutes to set it up.

We don't have mp3 audio in XSplit. Maybe that's just a typo? ![]() @Frostfire Unfortunately, your cpu is not able to keep up in 720p. Streaming is hard on the cpu and 20-30 fps ingame is about what is to be expected on a cpu like yours.

I can stream GW2 fine using screen capture, I have similar specs btw. I have low frame rate using DXtory and GW2.

There should not be any significant mouse lag when using Dxtory, but if you are recording using Dxtory to record your computer's harddrive have to be up to par to keep up. Why not use the latest version? Although I'm not affiliated with the software, I know the programmer have made a lot of optimizations, and specifically on new games it would be wise to use latest version for optimum compatibility. Latest version is still free to try (just have the 'Dxtory' watermark in it).

Edit: fixed by specifying a location in Xsplit. I guess the "default" server was down.

Geforce 460 gtx 16 Ram On Extreme setting when I play normally its jumps from 100-110 fps...even in big battles... When I turn on Dxtory...10 fps is lost.....another 10 when i put the game to windowed mode...after that turning xsplit on drops down another 20 fps....so im at 60fps and in big battles its about 10-20 fps.....is this normal? Im at 1280 720 25 fps...when i turn everything on low graphic settings im at 60-70 fps in big battles.... and about 100-200 fps normally...jumps alot....my CPU is only working on max 30% during streaming....is my GPU too slow? also if I turn down the streaming resoultion or the gamesound there is very little difference...

You are very likely bottlenecked by your GPU yes. 'Extreme' settings are very tough on any hardware when streaming. The drops/performance you mention is within what is expected imho. What are your numbers on say 'High' and 'Low' settings?

I really really really really wish there was some way for me to use a capture card and split the stream to directly feed the video into xsplit without capturing my screen... but I can't because I chose a 2560x1440 monitor. Is there anything I can do? I really don't want to use dxtory.

Problem is that USC is virtual camera and can capture what ever is on screen but its limited to 30 FPS. If its installed then its just service on background doing nothing. When some program want to use that then it start eating CPU. And more FPS you want, more CPU it needs. So i tested both program with same settings. 1080 resolution with 30 FPS and xsplit converted it to 720p stream. both streams worked great but ingame FPS differents where huge. I dont have some hyper computer. Quad core Q8400 processor with HD4870 graphics. So without any recording i get SC2 with low graphic 60-70 FPS. With USC i get 10-20, sometimes more but not much FPS and with DxTory i get 30-50 FPS. I must say that USC taked little less CPU then DxTory (but both times CPU where over 90%), but experience where totaly different. I looked over videos and there where no big difference in there. Finally looks like i buy myself dxtory ![]() ![]()

Thanks.... my stream is http://www.justin.tv/nistacular Unless the flickering is actually caused by your stream dropping and restarting, then 9 our of 10 times the cause for flickers is that you play a true fullscreen game and captures it with Screen Region. We do not support true fullscreen games with that capture method, so you have to use a different one, either our GameSource or Dxtory. Alternatively you can (likely) change your game to run in Fullscreen windowed mode (which is fine for SC2).
