Also, I bought the GTX 550 ti (EVGA) card for $130. Good deal? Is it going to last? I am only running 1 monitor (1680 x 1050). let me know if this is the wrong section for this.

If the url matters, this is what it looks like: https://us.battle.net/account/management/download-system-check.xml?platform=win HTTP Status 403 - type Status report message description Access to the specified resource () has been forbidden. Apache Tomcat/7.0.26 Edit: I can select "update settings" on another one of my accounts but I cannot run the settings fresh on my main account.

You're still probably out of luck. From what I know, you might manage a very very very low quality stream that would be too poor to watch (240P or worse?) but I don't know much about streaming, so I could even be wrong. But .68 mbps is pretty low, and in any event it's going to be too bad to be enjoyable.

I was wondering would it reduce ping by a bit? Maybe to 140-150? :D

In WoW and some 3D titles it can affect affect texture streaming, which can affect fps. In general no, a 7200rpm drive will be fine, just a slower to load than an ssd.

But, on first glance, I think that works, as long as there's no copy protection on the content (and I can't even remember if that exists on DVI, lol).

How do I set the background color of a Title overlay in XSplit? Do I need to edit the .swf that XSplit generates? What is the best tool for doing that? Also if I have multiple titles, they appear to be different file names in xsplit, i.e. c:\Users\MyUser\AppData\...\SwfPlugins\title.swf c:\Users\MyUser\AppData\...\SwfPlugins\title.swf (1) c:\Users\MyUser\AppData\...\SwfPlugins\title.swf (2) But I only see one on disk. What's going on here? Are these all generated by this wrapper nonsense? EDIT: The workaround is to just add a background image to the scene, and make sure it's below the title but above the stream in Z depth. Duh.

Acer Aspire 5750G - Intel Core i5-2410M: http://ark.intel.com/products/52224/Intel-Core-i5-2410M-Processor-(3M-Cache-up-to-2_90-GHz) - 4 GB DDR3 1066 MHz - nVidia GeForce GT 540M (1GB DDR3?) However, I feel some stuttering in-game even before 1.5 was out. What I've noticed is the laptop heats very, very much. It sometimes shuts itself down. I'm not entirely sure if it's lack of enough resources for SC2 or just a terrible fan. If it's the latter, is a cooling pad enough? Or even better, is it possible to buy a much more powerful fan for my laptop? I'm not too happy with how Acer is cooled.

See http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rollover_(key)Hey I was trying to play a game with a buddy of mine on the same computer (cramming both our hands together lol), but it seemed like many of the inputs were not working/delayed. As they work well when only one person is playing, we suspect the problem is due to too many simultaneous inputs that the computer cannot make sense of. For example, holding down two keys will type both of them, but then only repeat one of them (holding down K and L gives lkkkk instead of lklklklklklk). Is there any way to work around this? The workaround is to get a better keyboard. Possibly one that separately lets you use every key - nkro (any decent one through PS/2, or something like a noppoo choc mini through usb via weird voodoo magic). The fact that holding down k & l at the same time shows lkkkk in a text editor doesn't mean much. The kicker is if the keys are being recognized by the OS at all, not whether the text editor shows it. (For example you know that both W and D work at the same time if you've played any FPS game ever, yet if you hold W &D you get wddddddddddd on screen)
