Yo, i just get new ss kinzu and i have huge problem!
First day, everything ok, mouse is great, 100% ok no bad stuff etc...
Second day, and mouse is fuc*** up. Instead of single left button click, i get double click, so i wrote to steelseries to send me new one.
Ok i get new mouse, everything is ok. Next day, same situation as before, a lot of duble clicks, its not all the time but IT HAPPEN and its really annoying.
Now my problem is:
What could happened?
Is it my PC or Mouse issue?
I tried to change usb mouse connection but it failed, also i tried to plug it in my laptop and it failed too. Also i tried to reinstall drivers, old ones, new ones and stuff but it FAILED. So im not sure if i should get $$, get new mouse, do sth with my PC, im without any ideas. HELP ME PLEASE.

Its a mouse issue. I think i had 6-7 SS ikaris opticals and 7-8 Xais and all of them had some kind of problem. I believe most of them was due to the button was worn out even i got to use them and double clicking. I know 3 person who got this mouse and have double clicking problem when single clickling. Just get in contact with SS and look for an exchange. Its a known issue.

have you checked your mouse settings in windows and made sure that the double click speed hasnt been changed?
control panel --> mouse ---> buttons ---> double click speed (should be somewhere in the middle)

I run linux and have had this problem with multiple mice. It could very well be a mouse problem but seeing as I've gone days without it happening or it happen every two seconds I have to think it is more computer related. I haven't had the problem happen with my SS Kinzu yet but I'm just waiting for it to happen because it inevitably will. SS is really good about customer service and will basically keep sending you new mice as long as you need.

The razer is a great mouse but I think you will find this problem can eventually happen to all mice. Find someone with a razer so you can see if you like the feel that much better than the Kinzu.

Set your report rate to 125Hz.
This is a known issue and will hopefully be fixed in a future update to the software.

I had razer krait before cuz of sc:bw, and it worked well so im pretty sure that other razer mices gonna be ok.
That 125Hz failed ;<

Razer DeathAdder Respawn has none of these issues.

That's weird. I've had the same problem too and it helped me and everybody on google. Are you sure you checked "OK" instead of "Cancel" when you closed the driver menu? If you are, maybe try restarting your PC or reconnecting your mouse. That's pretty odd.

Hmm i did it again and it seems like its working! I'll made some more "TESTS" after my school so i can tell if its ok or if its still playing tricks on me.

I had the same issue with my Copperhead, and i made a web search and got to a page that had a registry to stop doubleclicking when it was not intended, but i cant find it.
If anyone that knows about that registry could post here.

Hi, i also got Kinzu and didnt wanted to make another thread with same problem. I did all from Mottz's post and it's still same problem. Do someone know what to do futher? I'm on verge to crash it to the wall.

I had a Kinzu too and the problem started 2 months later I bought it.

Have had this problem since I first bought the mouse 3 weeks ago, and it actually drives me insane when I game.
However, tried to do all of the above things, so will attempt a few games in SC2 to see if it helps, and provide feedback here as soon as I feel I have reached a conclusion!:D

Hey I did some research on the internet and I found an application which actually fixes this problem. I can not find the link, but if anyone is interested just PM me  .

I'm not sure about applications that fix this problem, I know I had a kinzu and it had issues, so I RM'd it to steelserie and bought a xai instead

Just open a ticket on their site and you can get a new one for free.
