As a mouse, it's really precize, I saw an old review in this webpage and that convinced me... however, it's kind of large and heavy (compared to your average cheap desktop mouse)... if you have palm grip (rest you hand over the mouse) this mouse is great amd really confortable... about the dpi, it's true that a really high number is just overkill, but it depends on the size of your screen, if you've never used a high dpi mouse (fast), you don't really need that...

But once I got used to it, I found the mouse to be a lot more accurate and smoother than my LMO was. If I had the money I'd probably try out a Salmosa or Abyssus as they would probably be better for me and my style. As the majority have stated, the MX518 and DeathAdder are two of the most highly recommended gaming mice. Choose whatever is more comfortable for you! Omg T.T me too i came from a LMO (greastest mouse ever) using a fingertip grip, but then the sensitivity is just too low for SC2 ( cuz i have a 1680X1050 screen), i mean i wouldnt mind going at it if it was a 1280 screen, but still, i love it. Razer mice feels really, really expensive even though its relatively good in price =D

However in the pro player mouse/keyboard guide looks like a lot of players are still going strong with their LMO. Even Boxer played with his LMO until he got the Razer deal, where he switched to the DeathAdder. So far I have no complaints about my DeathAdder as opposed to many others who have that stigma about Razer gear. Everything is working absolutely fine and I'm loving it.
