I like the keycaps on the leopold better but the Filco "seems" nicer (maybe just because I've used it longer of the two?) Not sure which is betterr but considering you can order the Leopold for just $99 from elite keyboards that may play a role in your decision. Just hard to find Filcos at a decent price anymore in the states.......

I like the integrated lights in the keys that use them, like the caps lock, and the removable cable is great. It even has an attached Velcro tie to keep it tidy when you are transporting it.

Besides, tenkeyless is really good for gaming. The difference is huge and all good IMHO. One can now position the mouse and mouse pad more comfortably (no more extreme right or left placement), especially on a cluttered or small desk. Or use a bigger mousepad in the saved space (probably important to low-sens(itivity) gamers. Typing itself (for forums, for work etc.) also feels vastly better, especially on a cluttered, small desk like mine. I type many hours a day for a living (I'm a translator and was a lawyer before and write code from time to time), so I know what I'm talking about.

Press the shift key, it wobbles like a drunk homeless man. Cheap wire stabilizers, something the filco and leopold does NOT have. I'm waiting for a leopold with reds.

I'm waiting for a leopold with reds. The Filco uses wire stabilizers... Yea I agree about the tenkeyless being better. If you desperately need a numpad, then just buy a filco numpad separate so you can place it on the left side of the keyboard...

It's the best thing I've ever used. http://www.pccasegear.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=17950

Not sure if that is expensive for you guys (US) noone sells these boards, and the aussie sites don't ship international ![]() ya, after checking like 5 different taiwan websites, and aussie websites, noone ships internationally without like a $50 increase in price, bleh hopefully elitekeyboards will be smart enough to sell reds, but reds aren't popular in the states ![]()
