Starcraft/Warcraft resolution

Hey all, I was just wondering if anyone knew how to play warcraft 3/Brood War in a non widescreen resolution whilst using a widescreen without everything getting all squished.

I found a video of grubby doing something similar to what I wish to achieve.

You need to set your graphics card to maintain the correct aspect ratio and not stretch it.

I don't think it works with nvida cards, I've tried a billion things in order to get it to work (the option is in the nvidia menu but doesn't change anything for me). It works on my laptop which has an ATI card though.

This can also depend on your screen. Check the menu if there is an option to fix the aspect ratio.

I'm using an ATI raedon 5850 and a samsung Sync master, and there doesn't appear to be anything about vsync in the moniter menu :<

Edit: In the options for my screen there was an option to change the screen size from widescreen to auto, seems to have done exactly what i wanted :D
