I tabbed out of sc2 for about 30 mins, then when I came back all chatchannels were labled as "EMPTY" and I am no longer able to join any chatrooms anymore.

Has anyone had the some problem and probably knows a solution?

Yep, same issue ever since everyone seemed to DC from their games a few minutes ago.

bnet had a weird bugout like 20 minutes ago. people very lagging/dropping, achievement popup went on and off nonstop and chats bugged out.

now a friend cant play ladder cause it shows placement matches and i cant join any chat channel i was in when it happened.

oh and people seem to stay in channels even tho they are offline.

very weird stuff going on right now

Luckily that didn't happen to me. But what I do have is that it says I have 5 placement matches to go, but if I play, I still get wins for the ladder I'm in =/... Blizz will work out the bugs.

so its seems to work again mostly but all channels that i had there are now blocked, i seem to autojoin them when i go online because ppl can see me but i have no chat window. so i dont have the best channels now

would prefer if someone finds a fix for it (no way to close all chats/reset your chat settings?) instead of waiting for blizz to react in maybe 3 weeks to the outcry in their forums...

I have the same problem. It seems to be server-sided, since i asked a friend to use my account, and he had the same problem. When i used his his acc, i could join the channels ( = no problem with client, such as corrupted cache?).
I think it is because of the auto-join function.

Is there a way to clear some kind of cache? It crashed for me some times and it appear as though I am still in the chats, so now I can not access any teamliquid chat or other friends chats. Everytime it crashes I am unable to rejoin more and more chats.

I don't know why there is no option to delete a channel, that would be very helpful because I have couple of unused channels which i would like to remove. If someone knows how pls respond.

You mean the channels on the list of chat channels to the right? Under the official, public chat channels?
Those change when I type in channel names and enter those, so maybe just type in 5 new and enter them.

Are chat channels cross realm? I am getting strange error when I try to access some profile's through channel's list.

Thanks beetlelisk. So you can only have 5 private chat channels saved. I to can't see some profiles because b.net says a player is from another realm.

Same here, our forum has had to make 2 channels and half of them aren't even aware of it so it's splitted up our community. Very unfortunate, and I hope also that it will be fixed soon.
