Thanks for that picture summary, you're awesome. I guess the Ouroboros is my next mouse. The DeathAdder is still slightly small, so that extra length and palm height should make it perfect.
I just wanted to say though, when I used the Intellimouse 3.0, it definitely did not fit the hand as well as the DeathAdder even though it was longer. I think the profile of the mouse is pretty crappy compared to stuff nowadays.

i really wish the measurements of these mice weren't all from the base. In some size comparison images I've seen, on overclock.net, the new krait's top doesnt look to differ much in size (length width height) from the abyssus yet the measurements differ greatly. ![[image loading]](http://cdn.overclock.net/e/e1/e1d94715_img0729bx.jpeg)
i guess pictures can be deceiving but I'm also thinking the thinnest point is at the base and people rarely grip there.

1. What's your grip style? Mild Claw 2. What's your sensitivity? 2400 3. What's your maximum budget? No real Max 4. Do you want additional buttons? Just the forward/back, no macro buttons needed 5. What games do you play? SC2 6. Do you mind angle snapping? Never noticed it or got a feel for this, I'd say no. 7. Other relevant information: Was using a TTesports Theron mouse, the cord got cut by accident, otherwise it would have been fine. Half considering just getting another one (Anyone know if their Combat white Theron is available yet?) but figured I'd get another opinion first.

I just ordered one of those from the guy I bought my other G1 from off Ebay. I love my current G1 but the shiny finish lets too much finger funk build up so I have to clean it every day. Plus my fingers like to stick to the buttons once in a while and it is annoying.

Hey guys, I'm currently using a steelseries xai and its amazing, but recently one of the side mouse buttons has been acting up. Sometimes when i click it, it will register the click multiple times which is kind of annoying when i'm using it for browsing or dota. Is there any way to fix this? if not, what is a good mouse that has a similar shape? how is the sensei? i read somewhere earlier in the thread that there was built in acceleration on the sensei. currently I use a fingertip grip with the xai at 1000 dpi

1. What's your grip style? Daily usage Palm / When playing SC2 Palm-Claw 2. What's your sensitivity? 1600 3. What's your maximum budget? 100$ 4. Do you want additional buttons? Forward / Backward only 5. What games do you play? Only SC2 6. Do you mind angle snapping? Yes. At least I should have an option to disable it. 7. Other relevant information: I used Roccat Kone for 1 year and its left click isn't "clicky" enough and occasionally get stuck. For 2-3 months that was probably the best mouse for me.. But now i have to get rid of it. Now I'm using Trust Silverstone. It's not ergonomic

I bought the zowie mico and its the mouse i will ever own. Very good for starcraft!

@Aceace I highly recommend the Mionx Naos 3200. Fantastic mouse with an optical sensor that does 800/1600/3200 DPI. It is very comfy & ergonomic. They have a 5000 & 8200 model as well, but those both use laser sensors while I think optical is superior.

So I just got the Steelseries Kana, and I have a question for people out there familiar with the steelseries engine, how do I get the right side button (button 5) to become "forward" when browsing internet. The left side button (button 4) is by standard "back" when browsing... Thx

I just got the kinzu v2 pro and being new to the sc2 scene I dont know what kind of grip I should use? when I hold the mouse normal I kind of have a claw style but the middle finger on scroll and ring on right click. I can adjust to any grip I suppose. I mean I learned how to claw a 360 controller if anyone knows what that is.

1. What's your grip style? Mix between paw and claw, its more like palm most of the time.
2. What's your sensitivity? 1800-2000
3. What's your maximum budget? 60$
4. Do you want additional buttons? Two side buttons are a must
5. What games do you play? SC2
6. Do you mind angle snapping? Im not sure, but I guess it would be better without it.
7. Other relevant information: It has to be one of the following models: Razer DeathAdder black, SS Sensei raw, Roccat Savu, Corsair m60. I know that the DA will be the most comfy for me and it has a great sensor, but I had 2 Razer mice die on me, each within a year and half of normal gaming (no abuse). Now Im looking for reliable and sturdy mouse that will last me a good 3 years or so. The m60 seems to have the best build quality, but I dont know if the shape is comfortable for palm grip. Note that I dont have an expensive mouse pad, Im using regular 2$ cloth pad, so the sensor should perform well on such surface.

I recently got a CM Storm Xornet and I'm terribly disappointed by the poor precision. I believe something is wrong, because the precision is actually worse than the $8 logitech mouse I had before:
![[image loading]](http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/21DUIRl4yuL._SL500_AA300_.jpg)
I can't click anything accurately on the minimap in SC2. I made a little test I like to do, which is drawing a few lines in paint. Here's how the 2 mouses compare:
![[image loading]](http://i.imgur.com/RJTgy.png)
The CM is 500/1000/2000dpi and I set it to 1000dpi in this comparison, since the logitech is 800dpi fixed.
It could be drivers, but the mouse didn't come with any software and I couldn't find anything in CM's site. Here: http://www.cmstorm.com/en/products/peripherals/Xornet/&tab=support
I checked firmware and it's the latest version.
Any suggestions? Do you think it might be defective?

The Sensei Raw hasn't been out 3 years so no information there. Same with the Savu. The M60/M90 is usually heavily discounted, and they're made of aluminum, so of those choices, that's your best bet.
The most durable mouse I think is the MX518.

If your hands are comfortable, it doesn't matter how you hold it. Don't worry about your grip. It develops naturally. My hand style doesn't classify as either claw or palm. It varies depending on the situation.

Tests like that are pointless and won't show anything. If anything, it seems like your Logitech mouse is correcting the line since they appear to be too smooth, but it depends on how fast you were drawing them.
There is always going to be a learning curve from mouse to mouse. All you need to do it get used to it. There doesn't seem to be any indication that it's the mouse's fault.
EDIT:
Quick Google says weird things so I'm not sure hehe.
Here's the link.
Try firmware 75. If you're not satisfied with the mouse after that, nothing wrong with returning it either.

1. What's your grip style? hybrid claw/fingertip. i grip the mouse with my thumb and pinky and the ball of my hand under my pinky. middle finger on middle click, ring finger on right click. I have really small hands. As in I can get the pringles out without tipping the can to the last chip. Wrist bone under pinky is the only point of contact with the table. 2. What's your sensitivity? Medium. My mouse now has 800dpi on its own and I put all of my system and in game settings to just above medium. 3. What's your maximum budget? $80 4. Do you want additional buttons? nope 5. What games do you play? sc2, minesweeper 6. Do you mind angle snapping? definitely prefer not to have it. 7. Other relevant information:
prefer glossy. needs to be lightweight. I use a cloth pad. This is the shape of the mouse I have now and I'd prefer not to deviate from that too much.

I am looking for a mouse for somebody with a small hand, i play with very low sensitivity and DPI (1000), since that's how i feel more comfortable.
1. What's your grip style? I play palm and claw, so i am interested in what could be more efficient for low sensitivity and to play RTS (i can change mouse to play different games) 2. What's your sensitivity? Low. 3. What's your maximum budget? 50€ 4. Do you want additional buttons? Not needed, but customization software would be nice. 5. What games do you play? SC2, DOTA2, sporadically shooters and RPGs. 6. Do you mind angle snapping? Nope. 7. Other relevant information: I prefer low button activation force, specially if i am palm gripping. Optical also. What kind of mouse pad would you recommend with it aswell ?
I am thinking abyssus or zowie's mico, but i don't really know.
Thanks in advance guys.

kinzu and intellimouse 1,1 are great mice for small hands, intellimouse in particular is by far my favourite mouse too bad its too damn slow

1. What's your grip style? fingertip 2. What's your sensitivity? From what I read in the description, High 3. What's your maximum budget? $150, prefer closer to $100 4. Do you want additional buttons? 1 extra would be nice 5. What games do you play? Dota 2 6. Do you mind angle snapping? Yes, but not a big deal 7. Other relevant information: From Canada

Most Koreans that are not restricted by sponsor obligations usually use a g9x. MMA and Ganzi are two that immediately come to mind.
Seems to be the new Logitech mini optical for sc2 and it's nice for small hands and claw grip.

that logitech appears to have angle snapping (in the paint test you did). The CM xornet does not have any prediction and is completely raw input.
so, most likely, you are used to using a mouse with angle snapping, and when you try to click a small area without it enabled you are unable to click accurately (not saying that's a bad thing, just what is happening).
If you really like the feel of the xornet (i am in love with it myself) the CM storm Spawn is the exact same mouse except it costs $10 more and has a better sensor with drivers that allows you to toggle angle snapping on and off.
