Some sort of hybrid between claw and palm grip. 2. What's your sensitivity? 1600 3. What's your maximum budget? 150$ 4. Do you want additional buttons? Mouse4 / Mouse5 thumb buttons. 5. What games do you play? DotA2 6. Do you mind angle snapping? Yes. Preferably i'd like to have an predictionless mouse. 7. Other relevant information: Kinda liked the feel of both Ikari and Xai except for the fact that Steelseries mice seem to experience problems quite easily.

You can get the 3.5G version pretty cheap now.

I hadd pretty much the same requirements and went with Roccat Savu - very pleased with it.

Really hard to get one, and probably pretty expensive. I would recommend Zowie MiCO which is pretty much identical shape. No drivers, three dpi settings (400/800/1600).

They have been discontinued for years, it's near impossible to find even a used one outside of Korea. You're better off getting a Zowie MiCO. Near identical shape and a newer sensor.

Also I'm interested in seeing what the buzz is about.

1. What's your grip style? Depends on the game, from palming to fingertip/claw. 2. What's your sensitivity? Around 30-40cm/360 in shooters, 800dpi and1600dpi on desktop/RTSes, playing on 1080p screen. 3. What's your maximum budget? ~50-60e 4. Do you want additional buttons? Thumb buttons preferred but not mandatory 5. What games do you play? FPS, RTS, Dota, the whole bunch. 6. Do you mind angle snapping? I prefer not having it, but it's not gonna be the deal breaker. 7. Other relevant information: Razer Diamondback was the best mouse ever. Shame I can't find one anymore.

Seems to be working perfectly now but I'm still not convinced that it's not broken. I think I'm going to get the 2013 edition anyway because I have a bit of amazon credit and the new grips/mousewheel look pretty badass. Maybe I'll even make a youtube review/comparison once it arrives. Any update on this? I've been using the MX518 but i'm having a few skipping issues with it now and with a new game i reckon it's time to get a new mouse and pad. I've had issues with the Death Adder before, mushy left click but really nice right click, and it was over two different units. The thing is though that the feel of the mouse in my hand is as close to perfect as you could ask for and i love the feel of the clicking, at least the buttons that work. Does anyone have any feedback on the new 2013 Death Adder as i can get this here in Australia at a pretty decent price. Any feedback would be appreciated. Thanks

Used a 3.5 DA for maybe 3 years. Currently using a Orochi and it's great but it's a bit small for regular use. Makes me claw a lot and I prefer my half grip on the DA.

My current MX 310 is starting to wear out (especially the wheel) so I'm looking for a replacement that is similar (small for claw grip, inexpensive, with browser back/fwd side buttons). My questions is, does anyone with experience using G300 find the location of the side buttons awkward, them being on top of the mouse rather than the side? I don't really use those buttons in game but I've read that that is one negative aspect of the mouse. It's not just the side buttons. The whole shape is awkward as hell IMO. Can't recommend that mouse, mainly because of the shape.

![]() Time to start looking for a better and more reliable mouse. 1. What's your grip style? Palm 2. What's your sensitivity? 1800dpi is where I sit normally sometimes lower in fps. 3. What's your maximum budget? $100 AUD 4. Do you want additional buttons? Thumb buttons 5. What games do you play? FPS, RTS, Dota, ARPG (Path of Exile) 6. Do you mind angle snapping? To be honest not sure what it is haha. 7. Other relevant information: Loved my very first low dpi microsoft mouse and was loving the g500 until I had these issues with it. Willing to change brands.

I'm a huge fan of the DeathAdder shape. Mainly because I can play my half-palm style where it's not fully either grip because the mouse is a perfect size for my hands. The new rubber texture where your thumb, ring and pinky fingers will go will take a lot of getting used to, but versus the previous plastic grip, it lets you grip very well. The all matte texture works much better. Scroll wheel feels a bit firmer but only time will tell. RMB sounds a bit lighter than the LMB but that may just be a manufacturing thing or my own bias. After moving from my Razer Orochi, the DeathAdder feels very sensitive at 1800 dpi. I like it. As a personal aside, I went on crazy killstreaks in Blacklight: Retribution when I used it. The sensitivity matched up very well for me there. Would recommend, just as I recommended the DA3.5.

I just got a deathadder 3.5g. nice mouse, but I was curious about getting a CM storm spawn instead. Any claw (or 'fingertip') grippers out there care to comment on the spawn? In particular, people who've used a deathadder and spawn? Thanks. I'm aware the deathadder sensor is just oh so perfect but the storm has a good sensor too, as I understand it, like a really good one, and the issues are more related to certain firmwares being bad than the mouse being bad.

In claw grip the back or your palm touches the mouse (most of the time) and your fingers are "clawed". In fingertip grip only your fingers touch the mouse, and the fingers are more "straight".

If the mouse touched my palm, I wouldn't be able to move the mouse up and down. Do you use a high DPI? Because I personally never move my wrist and just move round the mouse with two fingers on the side and two on top. Anyone know what type of grip that would be?
