That said, the new team maps really makes me want to come back and play some sc2 again!

Defender's Landing wasn't even a finalist: they're putting it in the ladder with no testing at all.

Because all the TLMC rush maps sucked.

Rush maps in general suck. Ulrena and Dasan were 2 of the worst maps in LotV, if not ever, and Blizzard still wants to have rush maps in the pool. People want maps that encourage macro play, not maps where your opponent's natural is 15 seconds away.

There are 6 macro maps.

And Dasan was a great map. Lots of interesting games and fun on that map.

edit: oh wait I forgot than one game that scarlett drone rushed Stats and won. It must be the best map

Are you serious? That led to a epic 30 minutes game on Dasan. One of the most memorable games in SC2.

What is meant by that?


Idk a just wanted to make a title... and since its all about community maps it is the test for mapmakers... or no? Like any admin is free to change it to whatever they want

It is a nice tittle, i just wanted you to say that, .. at least it is a clear cut title to entice people to post

Don't mind me i was tipping my head/hat at the tittle nothing more..
we need more threads / outlet about community and blizzard maps that are or would become ladder maps,
good on you to do one.
The tittle made me smile that's all, "did your map pass the mapmaker's test"? is how i read it i guess

every map would have to be in its thread and all mapmakers (to keep their active mapmaker card active) would post one post and then edit it if warranted, but all would be present..
then each OP would link to "best/worst" about the map from "every mapmaker..
mmm that would be good...
disclaimer:any one person thinking about how maps are made can be a "mapmaker", it is better if you make / made some yourself but not a prerequisite to voice stuff about a map.

Honestly I made it because it was out for 2 days on reddit and bnet, but not there... Im oficialy out of SC2 and jumping on Quake Champions train o.o ... its about time to show Overwatch kids how proper fps should be done

My resolution is on 1680x1050 and my graphics quality is on custom but I've been messing around with the different features and the water is still black no matter what I try.

I basically tried low to high for the shaders, lighting, shadows, and texture quality, and I tried turning reflections both on and off. Otherwise, I have terrain set to high and everything else on medium. I don't understand it.

Edit: Correction, it was the shaders. I guess my graphics card can't handle high shaders for the pathable water. I tried Hwangsan and the same thing happened, except the water looked yellowish instead of black. Setting shaders to medium made the water look normal.
