People forgetting to build walls or forgetting to put Zealots on hold position or leaving a depot down seems to be the reason Life wins most of his games, to be fair =P Yet strangely no other Zerg can imitate this and when I try this on ladder I just die. I dont know how he does it. No matter what game he plays or the caliber of his opponents, his lings ALWAYS get in. If this was NA ladder he'd be in the GM hacker thread in no time. Life is just on another level versus everyone else. It's unreal. in those cases its life knowing the timings of people's builds - reactor swap timings, usual timing to send units out and lower depot/move zealot (he knows these timings so well vs T and P), situational timings where he baits a lower/move out then runs in.
in the inferno case he expected maru to wall and was just checking it

Life has the right mindset here, which is basically 'I made mistakes that's why it was close'.
The alternative mindset is more poisonous for a pro-player and that is 'He made mistakes and that's why it was close', which shows a lack of confidence in one's abilities.
It may look arrogant to some and I can see how it would appear that way, but I think it is still the mindset that pro-players should have. Maru has the same.

That last game, Life was in spawn positions that favored Terran so heavily I thought he was dead from the start. but then maru made the very strange mistake of leaving a hole in his wall and it cost him

Maru absolutely had the final game won just from map spawns, so I don't feel too bad about Life winning it in the way he did. Either way it was sort of like a coinflip, heh. They do. The problem is there's at least a hundred pros and they all carry styles that apply to different maps as a result. There is no map that is universally liked by every single pro or universally disliked, and it's not just a matter of races. It's just an inherit problem with maps, really. You'll never have a map pool where everyone likes every map, both in competitive play and casual play. im pretty sure 99% of players dislike inferno pools & maybe secret springs. also foxtrot was universally disliked Yet Foxtrot didn't produce particularly boring games and had balanced stats. Foxtrot was my favorite map from last season. I'm pretty sure I'm the only person who thinks this though.
spectator wise was really entertaining.

everyone should use f2. But Zerg can make the most use of it, which doesn't mean it is to useful.

Let me know how using the F2 button is benefitial for Protoss after having a beautifully spread out ring of observers just stacked on top of one another...
I really think that the only race which mildly benefits from using F2 is Zerg, since their pre-engagement micro is revolved around setting your units to sandwish the opponent, but once this is done, then F2 all the way.

I liked it in sc2 as well.
Now there was a map that died too young

No, the OP just added that in. The translation went from Kr -> Chinese -> english and i doubt life uses f2 (Based on the youtube vids of Life's first person view games).

Maybe these players we think are good are not really that good. Maybe Life has seen through charlatans like Maru and Zest and has won his games by taking advantage of these noobs who can't raise depots and put zeolots on hold.

I was still cheering for life when he was down 1-3...knew he could pull it off ! Life!

Pretty much the same thing from life again and again. It happend against Taeja, now Maru. all he did was mass lings/banes and bombed the terran when they wanted to play a long macro game. I cant believe it worked for him this well. If you are to face life, you need to apply the pressure from the beginning. Then he will try bombing you. Build a wall and keep harassing and finish the game with drop plays. Maru was on point most of the time but stupid mistakes cost him the series.

I saw two players, both of whom had the potential to win if EITHER fucked up even slightly in the first 5 minutes. Despite the fact that one would inevitably win, it was never easy and they had to remain on top of pressuring the other or it would equalize again very quickly.

I don't watch any proleague games.. but I watched this one between Life and Maru from beginning to end.. and I'm sure its not possible.. but are these games in anyway rigged or fixed ? Like Maru was told to lose the game ? In games 2 and 3... it really seemed like Maru outclassed Life. Than the rest of the games, it felt like Maru was holding back .
