Dude I was at that game. It was amazing

I mostly only check if a tournament has Scarlett in it to decide if I'll watch. This would hurt so much

Doors on the right, dont let it hit you in the face on the way out.
Face? Capped the correct saying is ASS!
THE DOORS FUCKIN' LOCKED.

I'd support her decision, but it'd make me so sad

Scarlett noooo
If your wrists are the reason, I'll gladly donate mine.

Scarlett my favourite foreign zerg!

I'll be very honest here, I've watched very little Starcraft over the last year (also for personal reasons, etc). Anyway, usually when I DID watch SC2, there was Scarlett involved in some way. Don't know how that happened, but yeah, I guess I'm saying, the scene would lose a lot of pull for casual viewers without Scarlett.

Scarlett just doesn't have the passion for the game anymore. Her wrists are going too. Completely understandable and she needs to do what is right for her. Losing her is going to be huge for sure.

Why would you admit to that?

I would be very sad to see this happen, however I think we're going to see quite a few more players taking breaks and considering retirement as HotS winds down and LotV gets closer. Hopefully we'll see even a small resurgence with pros and casual players alike when that drops...it will be needed.
|
@AcerScarlett Best of luck in your future endeavors. and thanks for the memories!

well i kinda wish she will say yay or nay at this point i wish her the best either way but leaving this open ended like this starting to feel not right im not saying she needs to explain anything just say yes she is done or no.

Call me ignorant, since I generally am about the pro scene, but where did she say she's considering retirement? shouldn't you include that in the OP?

I would be really upset if she retired, since she is basically the face of female legitimacy in esports, but she has free will and choice to do whatever she wants and everybody needs to respect that.
I would miss her dearly, and I feel like SC2 fans, whether they were fans of her or not, will feel the impact of her departure. She is a shining example of a force coming out of nowhere and rising above everyone else, and on her own placeD her name in SC2 history.

though retirement might be a to strong of a word though i have used it also but she might be switching games.

I guess you mean to tell me I shouldn't use the word "Starcraft" for whatever Starcraft-related (like, BW, SC2, vanilla Starcraft etc). My apologies, I like to use it that way.

Scarlett, we love you! You are my absolutely all-time most favoritest player to watch. You deliver the most entertaining games, always! If you decide to go, we will surely miss you terribly. You rock!
