Just when we all thought that BlizzCon was going to be about World of Warcraft, Hearthstone, and Heroes of the Storm, news slowly came trickling in that Blizzard had a big announcement prepared for Starcraft. It had been 20 months since the release of Heart of the Swarm, but the pessimists in many believed that it was just going to be a new patch, maybe some new bug fixes, or perhaps an announcement of an announcement.
Instead, Blizzard unveiled Legacy of the Void. It wasn't just a vision or a plan, however: Blizzard already had a playable alpha available at BlizzCon. The scene was abuzz with thoughts and theorycrafting about the new units and new economy, but few were able to get a hands on experience with the coming expansion.
Fortunately, Team Liquid was at the scene, and we were able to pick the brains of some pros and commentators on their thoughts on Legacy of the Void. More interviews to follow.
While we upload the remaining two interviews (featuring Bomber and MMA), take some time to watch the LotV exhibition matches that took place at Blizzcon.
