I haven't actually seen anyone talk about Infestor changes. That spell is huge buff to the Zerg arsenal because: 1) Neural parasite wasn't used anyway 2) It is AoE, and buffs your units to deal quite a bit more damage
You literally need 2 Infestors to be able to buff your army enough to win some unfavorable engagement or something like that. I don't know how much damage it adds(I've read that it is 10, but I think that it was a mistake or it will be nerfed ASAP), but your fast attacking units dealing a lot of damage, like Ultras, Hydras and Lings will be great.

Picking up sieged tanks looks completely ridiculous.
Stasis & lurkers yay !
Really meh about the cyclone and the Herc but let's see.
Sad to see they didn't remove the SH nor reworked in an interesting way IMO...
Battlecruisers what the fuck?
Mortar roach looks cool, especially because they can destroy forcefield.
Corrupters and infestors change meh while not seeing games...
Disruptor looks interesting.
Oh and the really big thing is the mining changes. I really like it.
Looking forward to seeing games of LotV to see if the changes are good!
Sc2 in it's current state has more to do with C&C then what we see of LOTV.

Because it's boring. Doesn't really create any ineresting micro interactions.

"again"? Oracle, Tempest, Mothership Core vs Swarm Host, Viper vs. Hellbat, Widow Mine in HotS
And Protoss gets another Unit for LotV, most likely.
why does it take Blizzard 3+years to make the Nydus remotely useful? And why do they reduce the minerals on one patch? Even shorter games? New Terran units seem "strong" (as usual); thx for another non Zerg unit that can shoot while moving. New Protoss units look ok. New Zerg units, well they look cool but will be far too weak as per us..... its Blizzard, I think they dont like Zerg at all xD - manual launch of locusts + shorter spawn times????? erm.. feels like I`m getting HotS flashbacks (and not the good ones)
lets see what the future brings.. its still Blizzard :D

Most games don't end with the map being mined out anyway, unless it's Swarmhost vs X :\

not every single spell needs to be interesting this is probably the buff that zerg needs to fight better off creep against terran

Me too, which in fact makes rather optimistic. I was dismayed when I saw the replicant, the shredder, the oracle, it was like the sky falling down. And in the end, HotS was great, though I still hate the tempest and the oracle. I'm sure the changes LotV will bring will be for good -but I'm pretty sure those won't be the ones announced yesterday .

Why is it a major problem if certain things—capital ships, Nydus—are not often used in the first place? People should wonder why they're asking for "exotic" gameplay. This outcry for diversity and rare things is partially a mask. The truth is that the core mechanics of the game don't produce good enough gameplay on a constant basis, so people are bored and want the extraordinary where the ordinary should be enough. If the fundamental interactions that are showcased in standard play were solid/interesting/exciting enough, no one would start those "buff BCs/Nydus/whatever" campaigns resulting in aberrant ideas like the Battlecruiser of the Nydus ones.

Maybe they'll change that after a year or two. Who knows..
This is their last shot, but I feel >50% chance of blizzard abandoning sc2 a little bit after lotv. Unless there are some big changes to sc2, not just in terms of gameplay (gameplay is good for us though).
