Why is it a major problem if certain things—capital ships, Nydus—are not often used in the first place?


People want to watch games where it's difficult to predict what will happen. If diversity isn't rewarded, then it quickly gets less interesting to watch the game.

not every single spell needs to be interesting
this is probably the buff that zerg needs to fight better off creep against terran


Meh, if the utiliy of Speedlings is the issue, then why not just buff Speedlings tier 3 upgrade (Adrenalina or is it Metabolic boost? I can never remember which one is which)?

Each ability that is "boring", just feels like a wasted opportunity to me.

God they didn't change how mining works. Just mineral nodes.

Now that the game starts with 12 workers, I really wish they would increase the supply cap to 250.

I haven't played SC2 in a long time but i got to say the new units made me intrigued. Hope i can get access to the beta and try it out! :D

Looking at the second match I have to say that stasis field is really cool!

I was skeptical about the 12 workers but it seems funny.

I just hope that the second protoss unit is going to be cool (a gateway unit maybe?A new templar?) and that they're going to do a good job with the balance during the beta.

I'm going to buy it for sure

So building an economy is just no longer a part of this game? I like the unit changes and all, but the worker/mineral change just doesn't sit right with me...

The more I watch Ravagers in these two matches(especially in the second!) the more I love them. I just love that unit, they are amazing when combined with Infestors.

And just a few Swarm Hosts(4-6) can now give a serious headache to the opponent.

If they're willing to change nodes from 1500 to a 1000 and starting workers to 12, then yes; the answer is they already made changes of roughly the same scale. Why wouldn't I expect them to?

There's no reason they couldn't make proper economy changes and stop with these patented half-measures of theirs.

Err ... what? How does starting with more workers and having to have more bases equal not having to build an economy...?

I didn't realize building up to 12 workers required so much skill. If anything, expanding and controlling your portion of the map is more important now if you want a large economy. Correct me if I'm wrong, but if optimal mineral saturation is currently 16, then 3 mining bases now = 4 mining bases in the next expansion.
