That spell is huge buff to the Zerg arsenal because: 1) Neural parasite wasn't used anyway 2) It is AoE, and buffs your units to deal quite a bit more damage You literally need 2 Infestors to be able to buff your army enough to win some unfavorable engagement or something like that. I don't know how much damage it adds(I've read that it is 10, but I think that it was a mistake or it will be nerfed ASAP), but your fast attacking units dealing a lot of damage, like Ultras, Hydras and Lings will be great. The thing is it doesn't really look interesting, pretty much like the disruptor. You click and buff your army... wow. So exciting.

Why is it a major problem if certain things—capital ships, Nydus—are not often used in the first place? People want to watch games where it's difficult to predict what will happen. If diversity isn't rewarded, then it quickly gets less interesting to watch the game. not every single spell needs to be interesting this is probably the buff that zerg needs to fight better off creep against terran Meh, if the utiliy of Speedlings is the issue, then why not just buff Speedlings tier 3 upgrade (Adrenalina or is it Metabolic boost? I can never remember which one is which)? Each ability that is "boring", just feels like a wasted opportunity to me.

I was skeptical about the 12 workers but it seems funny. I just hope that the second protoss unit is going to be cool (a gateway unit maybe?A new templar?) and that they're going to do a good job with the balance during the beta. I'm going to buy it for sure

And just a few Swarm Hosts(4-6) can now give a serious headache to the opponent.

If they're willing to change nodes from 1500 to a 1000 and starting workers to 12, then yes; the answer is they already made changes of roughly the same scale. Why wouldn't I expect them to? There's no reason they couldn't make proper economy changes and stop with these patented half-measures of theirs.

I like the unit changes and all, but the worker/mineral change just doesn't sit right with me... Err ... what? How does starting with more workers and having to have more bases equal not having to build an economy...?

If anything, expanding and controlling your portion of the map is more important now if you want a large economy. Correct me if I'm wrong, but if optimal mineral saturation is currently 16, then 3 mining bases now = 4 mining bases in the next expansion.

People should wonder why they're asking for "exotic" gameplay. This outcry for diversity and rare things is partially a mask. The truth is that the core mechanics of the game don't produce good enough gameplay on a constant basis, so people are bored and want the extraordinary where the ordinary should be enough. If the fundamental interactions that are showcased in standard play were solid/interesting/exciting enough, no one would start those "buff BCs/Nydus/whatever" campaigns resulting in aberrant ideas like the Battlecruiser of the Nydus ones. I disagree. The people that are wanting BC/ Nidus/ Big UNit OMG to be good (game defining) are not always the same that want the core gameplay to be, better.
