This is going to be a completely new starcraft 2. We didn't even need new units, every unit's usages will change with the new saturation and mining rate changes.. Everything that we know about starcraft 2 is out the window with the mining changes by themselves, the 12 worker changes add even more chaos to the mix. The new units are just icing on the cake. I'm as excited for this new SC2 as I was for SC WoL when beta first started for it, if not more so due to the dev team's shown willingness to throw everything to the wind to make a better game.

Anyone who is saying "this is the death of sc2" is totally right, because this is the birth of something completely new. Holy fuck, what an exciting blizzcon.

Watching the footage, I'm pretty sure this is exactly the same as it is now. Minerals at 900 per patch disappear so quickly though, Terran lose the patch they drop their first MULE on at 8 minutes.

Well talk about hardcounter. Roaches can't even attack them, so there you are forced to go speedlings, which is just really poor design.

It's so dissapointng to see that after all these years, Blizzard still doesn't understand how you create interactions that are fun for both players.

I love these changes, especially the economy changes. It is exactly the things the game need, open up the game for multiple fronts, it is just great. I hope I can get into beta early and try it out. Great job blizzard!
