A lot of the other units have a lot of devastating value if they surprise your opponent - the teleporting BCs, invisible indestructible nydus worms (until they hatch), protoss mines, roach bombs...but the siege tanks are just an endless threat. That said I love that they're experimenting again. This feels just like the beta initially looked with the original Starcraft, when infestors could actually infest buildings and create infested terrans of various kinds. *that* was cool, I hoped for the same type of ingenuity now but I would say they've at last made things more chaotic which I feel is good. Unfortunately I feel like it'll be whittled down, to the point where it becomes another "safe" game like SC2 eventually became (with mostly boring units). Hopefully its different this time! | ||
