So basically terran gets two boring amove unit and for protoss and zerg they just added old BW units (though reaver with another name) because they didn't have any new ideas anymore.
Combined with fucking up the economy and making crazy changes to current unit this will certainly be the dead of sc2.
I always hated League of legends but maybe i will give it a try. I need a new game if this goes through.
Many of the coolest moments in sc2 happen due to worker harassment

None of this is final... I'm ready to bet the release version won't feature most of what was announced today and will be really good...

Well it might be one solution to "deathball" play. Not sure if its the best one though.

Wow these changes are really exciting! Banes/Lurkers/Mutas seem like they may be a little tough for Terran to deal with, but who knows how it will actually play out. Its awesome that they are getting so aggressive with their changes though, much needed. Quite a few of them are familiar from Starbow, glad they looked at that game for ideas

They aren't "random twitter dudes" though, I'm pretty sure that they actually got a chance to play LOTV in its current build.

with good micro I feel like the mobile siege tanks, in siege mode, are going to be extremely painful to deal with early game. What do you do against that type of kiting splash damage? If a player is top tier, I'm not sure how many they'll be able to handle - maybe 4 - 5 tanks in medivacs? You have to have dedicated units to take out the medivacs or its over.

A lot of the other units have a lot of devastating value if they surprise your opponent - the teleporting BCs, invisible indestructible nydus worms (until they hatch), protoss mines, roach bombs...but the siege tanks are just an endless threat.

That said I love that they're experimenting again. This feels just like the beta initially looked with the original Starcraft, when infestors could actually infest buildings and create infested terrans of various kinds. *that* was cool, I hoped for the same type of ingenuity now but I would say they've at last made things more chaotic which I feel is good. Unfortunately I feel like it'll be whittled down, to the point where it becomes another "safe" game like SC2 eventually became (with mostly boring units). Hopefully its different this time!

Well okay maybe so. But still in the early-mid game (or whatever stage it is) I think it'll be a brutal challenge. Come to think of it lurkers might fare pretty well. Also surprise attacks. Aah maybe its not so bad
