in bw you had 4...but yes changing it in xpac doesn't sound right but makes for less build time and more action might bring more people back into playing sc2 and reward micro more than macro.

Changes are not final, etc, but if something doesn't make sense, why not mention it ? Psione said they're reading feedback. Muta regen nerf is overdue since they had to make that bandaid fix to ZvZ.


Well if you played LotV a while and still feel like it needs to be fixed, you can give that kind of feedback then. But chances that at the point when the beta goes live, there will be a new anti air unit for Protoss, are just as high as that PO does hit air again. So I think it's pointless right now, but meh, just my opinion.
Maru and Serral are probably top 5.

I would actually hate it. I like to think of SC as the macro game and of WC as the micro game. I think SC should stay much more macro focused, while of course rewarding great micro as much as possible.

It just makes it so that workers don't kill them. When they finish constructing, you can still one shot it with a group of units.

Of course the game will be balanced and nothing is final yet. But toss need more attention from Blizzard. I think they are not giving The Power of Protoss to the game. So many changes that affect the game. Terran has much more tech than Protoss or Zerg at multiplayer. And at the history toss get thousands of years ahead of Terran in tech. Please, Blizzard, show us the True Power of Protoss.

God i'm excited.

It's time to take the rule book, rip it into tiny pieces then land a nuke on the playing field to truly level the international playing field like never before. A faster, more action based style of game, where strategy and micro rather than deathball armies or early rushes decide games.

You can not stop it until it's overground and starts unloading. I can put 5 nydus directly beneath your army if I have vision and you can not stop them whil they unburrow, even if you see it and have detectors. It's invincible until it's ready.

It means that, in the early / mid game, units are guaranteed to come out of the nydus worm, and you won't simply be able to bop it with your workers while it's building. You must commit units to defend the worm.

You'll still be able to kill it relatively quickly, although 5 or so roaches might squeeze out before it goes.

the reduction from 16 down to 12 only means that your production rate is cut down to 75%. You will still be making much more units then in Warcraft, its not like they are going to introduce upkeep. In my opinion this is a slick move to shift the overall focus of the game.

So is the 12 worker thing confirmed, or is it just something they threw in to make games start faster on Blizzcon? Because that change sounds absolutely terrible.

Terran and Zerg got some nice new toys and some downright ridiculous boosts, Protoss got another worker harass unit and a combination of buffs and nerfs... I do hope they have something else in store for toss, because it's terribly unexciting as is.

Yeah but that's what I mean, I hope macro remains the focus of the game rather than micro.

MY GOD - Every race got a freakin counter to EVERYTHING there..

I mean - Zerg is gonna be EVERYWHERE.. So Protoss is in a bit of trouble (if not a bit more) I guess

Regardless - Abathur must be proud of these changes :D
