Not sure if I would want to turn error sounds off since they might help me avoid mistakes, but you can disable response sounds of units in the options altogether. For some people, that might make unit control less satisfying or something, but it's completely safe from a gameplay perspective.

I'm guessing he doesn't like people who play starbow and should have more faith in Blizzard for SC2.

Iam sorry Pretty sure Starbow is in resemblance with Brood War which actually was a more skill required game than starcraft 2, which in my personal opinion, is more aggressive in regards to the playstyles of the game. Starbow/BW was more tactful and required more insight, and in turn, people could be aggressive by using Reaver Drops as an example. Do they have that in SC2? Not to the extent it was in Bw. What grosses me out, are individuals such as yourself, who create a toxic environment and ruined the community than individuals such as myself, who played from 1998 throughout the games life (BW/SC2), aided and contributed to building and in turn was ruined because of tools who wanted the game to be dumbed down and easier.

Iam sorry to break the news to you: People dont play games because of Skill. They play games because of Skins.

Exactly what I was thinking. And it tells a lot about the sc2 team when you compare what has been spent for LotV and Starbow.

Didn't know people playing games because one, its dumbed down and requires no skill, and two skins, is news? Could have sworn I've never seen any "news" titles stating "Dumbed Down Game has 200% increase in players." Let alone, look at games with skins. It costs money to have skins, which in turn is a money sink, not the actual game. People who play games that solely for that, are all about vanity, not actual gameplay. If you're going to make some bullshit response and disregard every aspect without reason, don't reply. As I said, people just like yourself, ruin communities, and ruin games.

He saying the games whose focus is skins and hats get more twitch views and players and suggests the causal nature of the correlation is that the player base enjoys non-committal casual games that give small non-skill based rewards whether it be "skins" "hats" or "daily quests" He isn't saying games should be dumbed down. He's saying making games hard so the top 5% can feel masturbatorily superior is a silly concept.
