Each his opinion I guess, but I like Dota monsters a lot more than X th human female with that theme + cliché clothes.
And the males aren't better either. I left LoL a long time ago but now they seems to have 10 versions of what Garen was supposed to be representing. ( strong young male ala character from Uncharted )

There are similar aspects that people may argue on, but overall they are completely different games that have their own set of skills that need to be developed. People argue that it's easier, but when you look at DotA which is another MOBA not too radiaclly different from LoL no one hates on that. dota is substantially harder then League, there's so much refined mechanics to it that league doesn't include. I think that's why its not bashed as hard. its not a bad thing, it just appeals to different types of players.
Dota is signficantly harder to get into, and has more complexity overall, but that doesn't discredit LoL. A lot of the success of LoL, both as a game and as an esport, comes from how easy it is to pick up while still having a very high skill-ceiling. Its completely ignorant to suggest(not saying you were at all) that LoL is easy to master when: 1) A team significantly distanced themselves from the rest of the world in the championships, in the face of a million dollar prize and 2) Individual players noticeably distanced themselves from the rest of the world at their position at both Mid and ADC, the two positions with the highest skill ceilings.

Ya i figure it is just down to player preference. Characters like Slark, Bane, and Lion are just verrrry unappealing aesthetically to me.

A lot of people also forget that the reason DotA people hate on LoL is the history behind the creation of Riot Games, and what people like Pendragon or Guinsoo did.

You preferring that 'aesthetic' to monsters, or there being some characters that aren't sexualized as a primary feature, are not exclusive to the game having more of it than DotA. QoP is a dominatrix, and the other female heroes have some pretty sizable chests, but it kind of ends there, I don't see how this is a discussion?

Take your statement in bold there and now apply it to league; there are characters in both games certain individuals would find sexual, but it clearly isn't an issue for either game, and it comes down to personal opinion of what overly sexual is.
There isn't some metric for sexual characters within a video game, and you don't see women's rights groups clamoring in outrage over LoL.

Progamers switch from SC2 to LoL because switching to Dota 2 from SC2 or LoL without any prior DotA 1 experience is like... career-suicide. There's not a single pro Dota 2 player without prior experience in either DotA 1 or HoN (which is more similar to Dota than LoL) and this is because you simply cannot play at the top level without this experience. MarineKing's chances of becoming a top tier Dota player are lower than mine, the sole reason being that I've been playing DotA 1 since 2006.

Turned on the finals with MKP vs MVP, girls day sang Nothing lasts forever and I just turned it off.
Sad to see MKP go, at least there is the silver lining (hueueue) of him going over to LOL so I might still get to see him a bit.
