That was on a shared account too, btw. Unless Maru is capable of being at top of KR GM with all 3 races.

if a lot less LoL players are having RSI issues this could also be a factor in his decision. it seems like every SC2 pro battles RSI.

The thing with Dota was that it was a community made game. There is no single "creator" of Dota, and while there certainly are lead developers, many, many people provided ideas and contributed to the development of heroes/items in myriad ways. Of course Riot took some of these ideas, with or without the consent of these contributors. To the best of my knowledge, their game is reasonably different enough for that not to matter, but it would be nice if they actually acknowledged the contributions of the community. Not once has pendragon posted public appreciation for all the work that was done on dota-allstars.com and volunteer TDA moderators.

This mass exodus of players, combined with all the little things, such as /r/dota having double the online users of /r/starcraft at any given point in time makes me view SC2 as dead. This is ofc going to sound dramatic, but, inbe4 Blizzard hastens LotV and 2015 is the last year that Dreamhack runs SC2.

Rome 2 is a fucken game in beta that they released to be greedy bitches. Sc2 b.net is complete shit. D3 economy was broken by hackers. Console developers should have stuck with console and left PC developers alone. Instead we have a conglomerate Activision-Blizzard that is focusing only on console games like CoD. They waste their time trying to merge PC games with console instead of shelling out for beta testers. I miss the days where PC games were developed by passionate people instead of large corporations that are only about making the most money off of the name value of titles.

Riot was also founded by a bunch of people that worked on dota all stars. It hard to steal what you helped create.

The former DotA developers that later started LoL took huge amount of heroes/items idea from the old DotA forum and then closed it if I remember correctly. So big part of LoL is based on DotA( and by this I don't mean map, structure etc...)

Haven't heard any news of any LoL (pro)player with wrist issues yet. Playing LoL isn't that apm intensive since you don't want to spam your keyboard/mouse clicks like you would in SC2.
