So why lay your personal SC2 grudges on the wrong table? There are better outlets.

Basically the article states that once OGN switched to sc2 the viewing numbers rapidly began to fall. And it pretty much sounds like this is the last year of pro starcraft in Korea. Koreans don't like Sc2. Koreans don't give a flying fuck about it. Fish server has 24k users -_-;....... BLizzard and all the fanboys singlehandely destroyed the purest incarnation of pro gaming because they couldn't understand BW. It was too hardcore for them i guess. silly foreigners =( sc2 was never a game fit for real pro gaming level

Could the mods keep the mind-numbing BW fanboyism in its forum too?

And you are just complete bashing Sc2 based on assumptions YOU take. I just seriously think you are a troll that wants to make Starcraft II look bad. and it sounds like the last year of progaming in starcraft? Weap your tears and look at the viewing numbers on other events. and just to clarify. you are a foreigner aswell, therefor calling yourself silly. Just stop blaming starcraft 2 for this.

Bisu never made a dent in SC 2 scene, he was bad at SC 2, his retirement won't affect the scene the slightest.

I popped into this thread expecting some well-wishes to Bisu, some stories of his good times, and a generally "nice" thread as people celebrate a legend. I guess I was stupid to think this community wouldn't devolve into a shitfest even on a topic like this. Dammit, never go into SC2 General Discussion. Why don't I listen to myself...

So you didn't find the good stories, you didn't find well-wishes you were looking for, and instead of posting them and getting thread back on track, you added to whining and bashing. Good job, sir.

Bisu's retirement is a huge blow to the korean scene period.. foreigners not so much but in korea his fanbase is one of the biggest if not the biggest.. the korean sc2 community there is dwindling, i mean just look at the proleague, osl turn outs. The interest is just not there anymore compared to the days of bw.

SC2 servers are going to be more active on non-KR servers; if the 15k number is during the same time for Korea then I don't know why it's that much, it may be that it counts all open lobbies as a game being played, or games in progess (Blizzard has never told us what the number really means). Yeah, as I said the time was bad but then again your claim was that it always has more than 24k. Right now it's 17:19 KST and the number I looked at previously is a bit over 8k which is pretty damn good for a game as old as BW but still nowhere near 24k. The SC2 number I compared was definitely not for Korea only though and doesn't matter too much. Actually found a graph on their site which seems to say they peak in the evenings at around 11k users / 2.5k games for a while. It's not bad although not massive either.

Good job, sir. Yeah, there's probably some response I can have to this, but the GD as a whole has been "off track" for months. I'd much rather just try to ignore this section entirely (even though I still fail).
