We hate on blizzard for their policy agains Korean RTS Esport scene. For intentionally killing Broodwar and forcing switch to a game nobody wants and as we see statistics nobody cares about now, its just not as entertaining - Fact confurmed by statements of people who work/worked on the scene and by the low vewer count in Korea.
Do you know what was Broodwar in Korea when official? It was epic, more epic than everything you have seen in SC2. For us fans it was an sacred thing and seeing each one of the legens like Bisu play was super exciting every single time. There were many bw related tv shows that were super fun too. It was a different world in which strong emotions, excitement and fun were constant experience.
Now all that has gone. We have no BW scene, zero interest by the vewers, players so important to us constantly retiring and rumors about this is the last Starcraft proleague.
How can us fans be happy with this?
Who´s "we"? You can only speak for yourself, so please don´t pretend otherwise. I could answer to both you and Plansix in same manner, but im not really into talking nothing if you understand.

No one wants to be a BW vs SC2 debate. If you liked Bisu, go find some old games and post them in the thread and explain to the SC2 fans why they were so awesome. Most of the folks who watch SC2 can appreciate a good BW game

All the best to Bisu in whatever he might want to do.
Can't not mention that so many posts in this thread are horribly idiotic. It's a really sad sight to see.

He doesnt say that he hates SC2, he says he hates Blizzard for killing BW in Korea. I think it’s normal to hate someone for killing something good.
And this thread is about one of the greatest BW players and its normal that from time to time BW is mentioned.

You should know better than this that there will always be people who think in this manner, and that they will post about it, and responding to them just gives them more ammo for their perception of insecurity over the direction that SC2 has taken. Take the high road and don't dignify them if you think they're just shitting here; the BW thread was mostly about him participating in the BW streamer scene, and few people cared about this whole issue.

Please, he is using "we" as to say the majority or to speak for the whole. The "royal we" to be specific. No one wants to be a BW vs SC2 debate. If you liked Bisu, go find some old games and post them in the thread and explain to the SC2 fans why they were so awesome. Most of the folks who watch SC2 can appreciate a good BW game
Does SC2 section exist only to express love for the game? What if we love the game but dissapointed what it has become and demand changes?

And this thread is about one of the greatest BW players and its normal that from time to time BW is mentioned.
With all this hatred towards Blizzard from the BW fans I wish some journalist would document how the decline of BW actually progressed, Kespa's and OGN's attitudes and reasons for the switch in 2012 and Blizzard's role.
I have a feeling that the picture that would be painted is a little more complicated than "Big bad Blizzard forced OGN and Kespa to switch and they forced their pro gamer slaves to play the worst game in the world while sobbing in tears". But I might be wrong, would be interesting to get an informed view anyway.

We get it, your here to hate on SC2 because you see an opportunity to do so. You are going to take the retirement of a great player and use it to voice your complaints about SC2 to SC2 fans so they know just how bad you think the game is. Now that you have done it, you can go back to the BW thread and hate on SC2 all you want and no one mind at all. We shall see if he will stream on Afreeca, and shall see... + Show Spoiler +

The 'SC2 is dying crowd' are a cancer to these boards, derailing every thread going.
They're a self-fulfilling prophecy, I for one grow tired of the game chiefly due to their incessant bleating about the game being dead, about how MOBAs do it better, how BW was awesome etc etc.

Most of the folks who watch SC2 can appreciate a good BW game I can't speak for him (as you aptly pointed out in another context earlier) about whether he was using a royal we or not. However, that is not the argument that was first presented about this whole "we" issue, and I was just making sure he knew he was wrong. If he wants to hate on SC2 in a civil manner, for whatever reason, he is clearly within his right to do so. There is a BW forum, with its own thread and everything.
Just to let you know, I have SC2 filtered off so I don't see SC2 content, but on the main page this is listed for me under Brood War and takes me to this thread. So there are people who made it into this thread and are unaware that it is under the "Sc2" section.

I don't really have time to play at the level I'd like anymore, but I enjoy the scene.
It's not a matter of ignoring trolls when they derail everything. It's like trying to have a meaningful discussion on Youtube comments

We won't get OSL finals with over 100.000 people attending on site. Doesn't mean we can't enjoy ourselves. Apparently SKT's salary negotiation period still haven't ended yet. So it is nigh 100% possible that Bisu arbitrarily quit the game and not due to team restructuring. SKT is so deep with protoss that there was virtually no chance Bisu was going to play. I think he may have realized this and I have to think it slightly factored in to his decision making. According to JangBi on stream was saying that Bisu is playing well during practice. Whether or not that's a legit fact or not, this is the only source we have so far.
Heres the thing even if he had become a top level protoss he still wasn't going to get much playing time because of how deep SKT was and as I have learned I have a lot more fun winning then losing while im not saying that's entirely it I would have to imagine constantly getting bounced out of code A and seeing drastically less playing time in proleague had something to do with it even If he could be a starter on any other team.
