It's not even my or your opinion, just a fact that there is not enough competition on WoL to be able to compare the GRANDMASTER class of HOTS to the latest 200 on WoL which comprised of low masters and hackers. How are those the same? Even if they were different achievements, how is that fair to the 200 GMs in the final pre-hots season and seasons before? EDIT: clarity | ||

There are people who continue to buy and play WoL. Earning Grand Master among them is still a badge of honor regardless of how much you want to trash that scene. And I don't understand why you are trying to play the "fair" card. Grow some thick skin if you are honestly offended. Everyone should have the opportunity to get GM. It a freaking ranking system not an exclusive yatch club. If you are in the top of WoL then be labeled as so. I'm sorry you find it easier and think that it is littered with hackers. Regardless of your opinion they are taking something from a game and in the end that is how simple my argument is. I don't agree with removing features from a game. | ||

getting gm in wol gives people with false sense of superiority, where terrible players actually think they are good in hots, the case is less severe | ||

I am assuming that the number of people still playing WOL is pretty small, so it could take ages for a Masters level player to be matched. If you allow all players to be matched against each other it could improve the overall skill of all the players and decrease waiting times. The alternative is to let players be matched if their MMR is close enough, eg: masters and plat players can be matched but masters and silver cant be matched. | ||
