SC2 Stream Overlay

Hello everyone, I am completely stuck on designing my own overlay for streaming. I've downloaded few from google and people do amazing jobs on them. I am not a graphic designer so therefore its difficult for me. I searched everywhere and i can not find a decent tutorial on how to design one. There are few where its just super plain. Are there any advanced tutorials out there that i can follow? Or is there anyone here who knows how to make one and perhaps show me? If there is i thank you in advance! Thanks!

Did you try searching here? There are several threads about tutorials and people designing overlays for others.

Yeah I tried, either its threads offering overlay's or just ones that are made. So stressful lol

Hello iKill11,

I am also searching through the Team Liquid threads for current chatter about overlays. I did find some overlays that are extreamley cool and only required small amounts of editing with Photoshop.

However on the downside to this,

I have PM'd several original posters of these threads to talk to them about their current overlay making status, or if they had any additional tips tricks on how to make them myself. Sadly, I haven't heard back from these members. I am sure they are just busy or have lost interest in doing such things.

In addition it is difficult to find a decent thread to bump because it is hard to get in contact with these members.

So because you started a new more current thread about this topic, and permitting the TL mods don't mind, I will also ask about overlays.

I am part of a small active military group of Starcraft II players call team vTn (veterans) and we collectively stream and do fun things like tournaments ect. We are looking for someone who can do a bit of designing for us and come up with a type of logo and an overlay for our stream. Any help would be greatly appreciated and if required we are willing to work out a price for services.

- Launch a SC2 game
- Print Screen
- Exit SC2
- Launch Photoshop
- Create new PSD the size of your screen resolution
- Add new layer
- Copy print screen
- Crop bottom
- Add new layer
- Design over printscreen

Hey guys I actually do design and create overlays and would be more than happy to send some examples over PM if you are interested. I'm also in the process of making a tutorial so I can post that here when its done

Thank you VietMan for the basics on making an overlay.

I just don't have that kind of creative talent to customize it the way I want it in my head.

Also thanks Flamga I will send you a PM with more information. You guys are an extreme help!
