There are "54" 1st and 2nd place finishers since Queen Buff on 10 May.
9 of whom are Terran.
Also note that Taeja represents nearly half of those (4 total). MVP also takes 2 spots.

I don't think Blizzard rigged the game, I just think that Blizzard, like all other old studios (e.g. id software) suck nowadays (point made by sc2, and point confirmed by diablo3 and sc2 balance patches) and have no clue on what they're doing. Basically, eSport is just a marketing word used to sell SC2 in Blizzard's minds, nothing else. It works because every fat and ugly white kid wants to be a superstar for at least 5 minutes without having to break a sweat/move from his room.

Blizzard rigging the game sounds ridiculous, what i think is wrong with Blizz is that they rely on win rates to decide whether or not the game is balanced.

Eh, consider the millions of dollars they will make if Zerg is the best race and even getting the best and coolest new units going into a Zerg expansion.

Very disturbing numbers IMO. I just hope that terran can come back in HOTS because Im tired of PvP and PvZ on ladder.

Wow someone's angry. I can say with certainty that your cynicism and hatred is unwarranted. Diablo 3 is infinitely better now than it was on release.
If anything, people have become somewhat desensitized to the level of play seen by current SC2 professionals. Games that are considered run of the mill, standard play now would have shocked and amazed viewers two years ago.

Yeah that's pretty bad but also notice what? The best terrans represent the majority of wins? What a shocker.

This for me personally is the article of the year on TL, I play all 3 races and really don't mind if Zerg is over-represented at the top because of their superior skill level. However I must say that imho this is certainly not the case, Zerg seems to just win every late game and only lose those early-mid games where they are outplayed/caught unprepared against a timing/all-in.
Needless to say, there's been a tonne of ZvZ especially at the ending stages of any tournament, fact is this bores me a little, I don't hate the ZvZ matchup but imo it's less interesting than TvT and 2012 really made me miss 2011 GomTvT... Also, Infestor BL win win win every game just seriously sucks.
I hope Blizz will do something before I lose interest completely, I used to watch so much sc2... Nowadays I even skip GSL finals Sniper vs Hyun for example. And Blizzard Cup Z fest... Only Parting is in the way of all-imba race representation.

personally I wouldn't mine the over-abundance of zerg if there was multiple strategies to see. But it's just turtle until brood lord / infestor death ball, a move, GG !

Would the OP please put as much work into analyzing Terran wins from before 2012, as he did tear apart Zerg here? Obviously a Terran player... the QQ feels good. LOL @ infestors being buffed again!

Starcraft 2 never will be balanced while Infestors(Infested terrans, Fungal), Brood lord, Forcefields stays in the game and now Time warp, Swarm host??? WHAT Zergs shouldn't have free units, they are insects not zombie.

HSC 6 again proves the point of the OP. Great job Blizzard.
SC2 balance team = incompetent

Blizzard design team = Diablo 3

Only good graphics left.

I've been meaning to ask someone. How's the PvP?

That doesn't even make sense.
Why would they make more money for making one race imbalanced?

Thanks blizzard for making the SC2 unwatchable for many people. There are a lot of zergs after zerg buffs and all of them play same.If I dont look at player names I would never guessed who was the player. There is same thing every game.Make 3 bases then make infestors then make a unbeatable hive army and win the game.I dont care the results it is unwatchable for many people. Having an ability to stop other playing microing is really retarded and uninspiring. And it doesnt require skill to place fungals. You cant miss them there is no missile and it is instant. And once you fungal one you can fungal same unit over and over again this is really wrong... I hope they learn from their mistakes and make a better game in HOTS.

Intresting post to say the least.
