Ah, thank you!
Also, I didn't realize it was warnable to question a ban O_O I should read the rules more carefully.

a well written article, maybe a bit cynical but an enjoyable read nonetheless.
thank you OP

I think the issue with the game is that the maps are just too damn big now. Smaller maps would mean more aggression, more micro opportunities, less death balls, and thus keep the audience much more interested. I think a lot of people, myself included, would prefer watching and playing games where players cannot simply sit back and macro up while being very safe til they have massive armies only to end in one single engagement. Thats my 2 cents

The mod is obviously abusing their power. Very disheartened to see that on TL

Kalsdou was a PBU, there's a very entertaining thread that gives reasons for bans, http://www.teamliquid.net/forum/viewmessage.php?topic_id=32696. So far, Kwak is my favorite moderator, he brings down the hammer and makes nerds cry.

Smaller maps would only result in more aggression; you wouldn't see more micro or less deathball play because of smaller maps. Those are symptoms of deep-seeded design flaws with the game, not merely maps.

This is the biggest, longest, most grammatically correct, well-spelled, and articulate troll post I have ever read in my life. Congratulations. It is still 100% a troll post.
I will not bother to respond to your points as it is unclear whether or not your sole purpose here is to bait out the millions of balance whiners and other trolls for your own amusement. At 1712 replies and counting in 19 days, clearly you have succeeded.
All I will say is that despite your fine illustrations and well-constructed paragraphs, your central thesis that Blizzard has hatched a secret conspiracy to deliberately sabotage the balance of their own game to, by some oblique and convoluted avenue, promote the success of foreigners in SC2 is one that is most frequently associated with 15-yr olds writing in all-caps with lots of lol's. This assertion is so loony it belongs in the same company as that practiced by Scientology.
There is no correct way to interpret this argument except as one long, extremely verbose joke. And if you take Ver's argument seriously, the joke is on you.

This entire argument of "patch zergs" is so ridiculous and silly. So I guess everyone using this term believes +2 queen range on their ground attack just broke the game and caused this shift in win rates? Get real man, this was all just a slow meta-game shift, probably began by Destiny with his abundant use of infesters with great success. I have nothing against Destiny, but after hearing about his success and watching his games, it was easy to see ( as a higher masters/low gm players ) that I had to start using infesters .... a lot ( I used them pretty much not at all before ). Every other higher level / pro zerg saw the same thing, we all started shifting .. 6 months later we are all abusing the shit out of infesters with every single composition in every single MU.
Point being, the current shift in balance had nothing to do with any patch, and everything to do with a shift in the zerg meta-game where infesters have become more widely used.

OK... then build a third base without speed and spines before 8mins, when your opponent is having mapcontrol from 4-6hellions. TvZ metagame has shifted BECAUSE of the queen patch. 3base Zerg has so much more production, that it is both safer and more economical, compared to the former (forced through hellion contains) 2base+tech Zerg playstyles. No matter if you played Infestors or Mutas prepatch (and apart from Mutafavored maps most Zergs played Infestors straight before the patch), Zerg got a lot stronger all game, through the better early game setup.

I might get absolutely trolled for this, but he I go.
I think players such as Idra and TLO will become the dominant Zerg foreigners once again as soon as Zerg get the nerf bat. They will be the equivalents to players such as Thorzain and Naniwa, I even believe they currently are. The only reason you find these kind of players do bad in tournaments is because they don't abuse the hell out of infestors, they just play standard and will use whatever style that they prefer to play.
I think you will find that many current patchzergs will die out, and won't even get the chance to make it to tournaments anymore. I think you will find the current dominant Zergs such as Nerchio/Stephano/Scarlett/Snute will probably just come back to being average players equivalent to that of Kas/Bratok/Whitera.
Don't get me wrong, these are all very good players, but they will return to just being foreigners... unlike now in which they always upset Koreans (Which is getting a little old now). They will still enter tournaments, but it will be rare to see any of them enter the top 16 (Which is a good thing).
I really think the people who didn't abuse infestors and focused on Zerg Core Mechanics will be the Zerg who are Strongest. A lot of those Zergs aren't popular atm due to them not abusing infestors.
It's all speculation however.

Dont know if this has been posted or not...
Dustin Browder @DustinBrowder It looks like our last Infestor nerfs were not enough. We will look to patch again sometime in January.

All the caster units in general in SC2 need work.
Caster units to me are what set the pros apart. Your ability to micro and get the most out of caster units is something an average player usually struggles with. Whenever I watch any pro players I want to see how they get more bang for their buck from caster units than an average player.
But in SC2 the caster units just don't impress me with their use. Fungal, force fields, anything with the raven are all underwhelming as a spectator.
